Albertsons Magnum

Albertsons is having a great sale on a number of items this week. I stopped at Safeway to pick up five $1/1 Magnum blinkies and then headed over to Albertsons and bought five boxes for $7.45. I found the mini bars as part of the sale so they came out to only $.25 per ice cream bar!

Thanks for the chip tip, Jenna. I was fortunate enough to print two of the $1.50/1 Magnum/Klondike etc cpns on July 1 before they vanished. Today I saw a Ben & Jerry’s cpn tearpad by the register at Walgreens with $.75/1 cpns (limit 2 per transaction, typical Unilever policy). So I should be able to get 2 Magnums, 2 Cape Cod chips and one B&J for just under 5 bucks at Albertson’s. I should have 3 of the 4 basic food groups covered: chocolate, ice cream and potato chips.

        Amen!
I went on Saturday and got 4 bags of chips, 5 boxes of the Magnums (I stopped at Safeway and snagged 5 of the blinkies), and 2 packs of the 6 roll Everyday Essental TP (there were printable $2 off coupons a week or so ago) plus a 32 oz bag of frozen peas for $16.88. See, mom, I got veggies! 🙂

Yum, good work! I ended up getting 2 Magnums (flavors I haven’t seen before), 2 Cape Cods, 1 bag of EE pretzels. Shoulda been $5.45, but the cashier fumbled her way through my cpns and it came to $4.95. I told her about it and she said forget about it unless you want me to start all over. I bolted.

There is also a $1/1 coupon on the Cape Cod Chips right now on coupons.com. That would make them an even better deal at $.99!
