Just got back from Albertsons. I bought the 3 Honey Nut Cheerios using the coupon from the ad plus the extra coupon you mentioned of $1/3 and received a catalina for $1.50/4 General Mills cereals. Didn’t see that catalina listed on your list, so thought I’d mention it.

I wasn’t able to get any coupons for $3.oo off of the Chef’s requested products (meat) at Albertsons. The web site for Chef’s requested products only allowed me to print a coupon For $1.50 on any two (2) products.

Just went to Albertsons in Sherwood and bought 2 BF mayos- catalina did not print. I asked about it and was told by the cashier that if it isn’t in the ad, they can’t guarantee it. I was bummed. 🙁

i did 8 Ragu 2 best foods mayo and got the print out for $2.00 off next purchase. IT is working if it doesn’t print out just go to customer service desk and they will give you a rain check for $2.00 of next purchase

If they give you a raincheck is because someone is being really nice. Actually the catalinas don’t have anything to do with the store. You have to call the catalina company and ask them to send you a replacement. If a store happens to advertize a catalina then a lot of times they will back it, but not always. The stores usually don’t know about the catalinas.

Just wondering if multiple catalinas will print for purchasing more than 2 Best Foods products. For example will 2 $2. catalinas print for purchasing 4 mayos in the same transaction? Thanks for your help!

I think there is a flaw in your math on your deal scenario up there for the Skippy peanut butter and Ragu pasta. The total price of all 10 items would be $11.90 – $5.00 in coupons you would use then -$5.00 instant savings means your OOP would be $1.90. Maybe I’m missing something but that’s how I see the promotion working.

The prices she has listed already reflect the $5 promo savings

I bought the Ragu Pasta sauce and did everything the list above told me and the total for all 10 was $8.90 which would equal .89 cents for each instead of .49 cents. The $.99 price for each includes the $5.00 instant savings. I don’t know if I’m missing something, but that’s what happened to me.

How many of the $1/2 coupon did you use? I assume that you have to use 5 to get the price down to $.49 each:

          10 x $.99 = $9.9 (price after the Instant Savings).
          Use 5 x $1 = $5 to lower the price to $9.9 – $5 = $4.9.
That is $.49 each after Instant Savings and coupons.

I have a question about the Best Food catalina – if I buy four will I get two cats? In other words, is the cat only on the first two purchased or every two?

I had read on this web site July 30th that I could do what I tried to do. I was using the dollar coupon on one box of Who Nu cookies and wasn’t allowed to use the buy one get one coupon on a second box of cookies today at Albertsons. Yvonne, I was using the dollar coupon on the one I purchased, and tried unsuccessfully to use the buy one get one free coupon on a second box. Thanks for taking the time to answer Oh well maybe I won’t like this supposedly healthy cookie..

I just did this today. I used the $1.00 off the first box and the BOGO on the second box. My total with the double was .50
      Who Nu cookies 2/5.00
      1.00/1 coupon
      1.00 TTV
      BOGO coupon
      = .50
The checker was clearly wrong, as their policy allows this.

BTW – I like the chocolate chip ones (they taste like old fashioned Chip’s A hoy). The Oreo type ones are okay – I just believe that you don’t mess with Oreo’s. : )

Today I was trying to buy 2 Who Nu cookies, with a dollar coupon that was doubled. Checker said I could’nt use the buy one get one free coupon on the second box beause I had already used 1 coupon. This didn’t make sense to me Why couldn’t I?.

Safeway coupon policy, you can’t use a coupon on a free item. So if you use the BOGO coupon on one item, you can’t use the $1.00 off on the item that is free.

That must be new then, because I did the exact same thing at Albertsons a while back with no problems. Used 2 BOGOs, 2 $1/1, 2 doublers, and got 4 for $.25 ea.

I’m not sure that is an actual coupon. It says it’s “Your Bucks” which I think is the catalina. It says save $2 on a future purchase when you buy 2 Best Foods Mayo
