There have been numerous posts on this blog in the past few weeks concerning Albertsons. An entity called Albertsons LLC, which owns the CA and AZ stores, bought all the remaining stores from SuperValu and is imposing its own policies nationwide. Supposedly they are going to do a “price drop” soon to try to compete with other stores, and doublers/roundups may not return.

Yes. It seemed like last week’s eggs for 79¢ was already a price drop for Albertsons! Personally, I’d rather have price drops and sales than doublers. A lot of folks couldn’t get doublers anymore anyway after they pulled them from stores.

There is a $1/1 Vlasic here (if I pasted this link right :-/):

Vlasic at Winco is $1.78 right now I believe (so .78 with the coupon).

The Libby’s canned kraut for $1 looks like a decent deal. I spent way too much time online today looking for the recent $1/4 cpn and gave up; must have been pulled.
