I made it out today to some stock up on campfire supplies and condiments. Here’s what I bought with today’s Albertsons doubles:
2 boxes Graham crackers
2 bags of Marshmellows
2 pkgs. of Hershey’s chocolate
1 Yo-baby yogurt (priced at $2.69 had $1/1 coupon from home mailer)
Got $2 instant savings x2 = $4
Used 2 $1/3 coupons for smore supplies
Used 3 doubles
$6.67 after coupons & doubles
6 Sweet Baby Rays sauce
2 Best Foods Mayonaise
2 Kraft Deluxe Cheese
1 bunch bananas
3 Cameo apples
Got $5 instant savings
Used 2 $1/3 BBQ sauce coupons
Used 2 $1/1 Mayo coupons (The Hellmen’s coupons scan just fine – they are the same company)
Used $2 off produce coupon found in Albertsons Summertime savings book (mine was a home mailer book)
$7.35 after coupons & doubles
$14.02 for both transactions
I wasn’t planning on buying that many BBQ sauces but I had to change plans mid-way when I found out the mustard was gone. Plus, I planned this trip in about 15 minutes between coming home from church and getting kids fed and down for naps. I didn’t take all my coupons with me so I’m sure there were more deals to be had. Regardless, I think it’s pretty good!
