Amazon Mom: Membership is open again (20% off diapers, wipes, unlimited video streaming + more)

Great news! Amazon is once again offering a FREE three-month membership to Amazon Mom for a limited time! Amazon Mom was available for a short time in February, so I expect this round to close again quickly.

Here’s what you get with your three-month Amazon Mom membership:

:: 20% off diapers and wipes Subscribe & Save subscriptions — We’ve found that waiting for a good price and then using Amazon Mom benefits beats Costco prices on Huggies Snug & Dry diapers. Once you join, hold off and wait a bit for us to post some good deal scenarios. Not every product offered under the Amazon Mom program is a good deal.

:: Amazon Prime benefits which includes FREE two-day shipping on all items offered by Amazon, unlimited instant streaming of videos, one Kindle book to borrow for FREE each month from the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library.

You do not need to be a mom to join Amazon Mom. Pretty much anyone can join (a mom, dad, grandparent, caregiver, etc).

At the end of your FREE three-month membership, you will be converted to the full Amazon Prime membership for $79 per year (you will continue to get all the benefits of Amazon Mom plus more). You can cancel the auto upgrade after you sign up for your Amazon Mom trial by following these steps:

  • Log into your Amazon account.
  • Click “Your Account” in the upper right hand corner of any screen.
  • Click “Manage Prime Membership.”
  • Click “Do Not Upgrade.”
  • Click “Turn-Off Auto Upgrade.”

Limit one Amazon Mom membership per household. If you have ever received shipping benefits through Amazon Mom, Amazon Student, or have had a paid or free trial Prime membership within the past 13 months, you are not eligible for the Amazon Mom free period. If you are eligible, you will get a “Discover How Countless Families” message at the top. If you’re not eligible, you’ll get an “Upgrade Your Amazon Mom Membership” message at the top.

Sadly, I signed up before I read the information on the Amazon site. Amazon Mom does not give you access to video streaming or Kindle. You get 20% of diapers and wipes and 2 day shipping – none of the other benefits of Amazon Prime. Just so you know!

Just an FYI that if you have had “Amazon Mom, Amazon Student, or have had a paid or free trial Prime membership within the past 13 months, you are not eligible for the Amazon Mom free period.”

No go for me, boo hoo.
