As a few of you noticed, our little blog was a bit quiet yesterday. I (Angela) had a productive organizing day and couldn’t tear myself away to blog.
Check out what my mother-in-law & I accomplished (I didn’t think to do before shots; just use your imagination):
My husband’s grandmother bought me this beautiful buffet and hutch. It was delivered in September, but it wasn’t filled with actual china until today. Previously, it housed my Walgreens stockpile. Blasphemous, I know.
Next, the Walgreens stockpile had to move somewhere. We reorganized my big kid’s closet to accommodate the growing stash.
I realize I really need to get rid of some of this. I know my friend Jodi is having a massive panic attack right now (as a side note, you should check out her Thanksgiving Turkey cookies). Anyone need shampoo?
Lastly, we moved my food stockpile storage, which was previously in the kids closet, to the hallway closet.
What I love about this closet is there is room to grow a bit. And my cooking isn’t dependent on nap schedules anymore. I still need to find a place for all our towels and sheets. I’m hoping to move some clothes around in my closet to make room for most of it.
Five hours and lots of mouse poop later, I am on the road to an organized stockpiling system.
