If missed out on last month’s Zaycon Foods chicken delivery, you just scored! Cash& Carry has 40 pound boxes of boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $52, which is just $1.30 per pound, through tomorrow (11/27).
The boxes contain (4) 10 pound bags of frozen chicken. And by “frozen” I mean frozen together. All you have to do is let them thaw out a bit (just a bit, not even close to all the way), pull the breasts apart, trim anything you don’t want with kitchen scissors (like the fat) and refreeze in meal sized portions. You’re looking at about 1-2 hours of work to get tons of chicken at a fantastic price.
Note that this is conventional, grocery store-type chicken. They were probably not loved and cuddled while alive.
There are Cash & Carry stores all over the Northwest. Regular people can shop there (you don’t need to be a small business owner). I get all my coffee syrups for less than $5 for a big bottle as well.
