So if I have a BOGO on my Safeway cared from coupons.com and I have a BOGO printed from coupons.com….. will I get two items free? Or will the ecoupon not come off?

I started using eCoupons at Safeway and it has been working great for me (I also found more at Safeway's website). Today I tried to add my fred meyer card (using the Kroger choice & putting in my fred meyer #), on the shortcuts site-which worked, as I can see both of my cards listed in my info section, but I couldn't figure out which card it was being saved to (and there isn't an option to pick one or the other)-so I e-mailed them and got this response back:

Thank you for contacting us. All of the coupons that you select will be added to each card as follows:

1. If the offer is Green this means that it is a national offer and will be added to all cards registered.

2. If the coupon is blue, this means that it is geographically restricted and will only be added to the specified registered card.

3. Once you redeem the coupon, it will be removed from both cards.

-Sure enough the check mark area is either blue or green & all the ones I have done so far are green-so guess it is on both cards & will get used from the one I use first.

I agree with Twin Mom, cellfire is easier to keep track of. If you look at your account, it shows a list of coupons in order of expiration I believe. But, if you choose the print option, it prints in item order, so if you have 2 of the same thing, it will print them together on the list and it is very easy to see. There is also a print option on Shortcuts, but it isn't orderly like Cellfire. I use a similar system to TwinMom's tick marks but I actually write out in shorthand each q because I'm a visual person and like to see my math

Keeping track of the coupons is really hard. With cellfire, there's is an option to print under your store name. With shortcuts, you have to laboriously add every item to a list, as far as I can tell. I usually just write down the items I might want to buy by hand, put the coupon value (esp. if I have to buy 2 items to get the coupon value), and tick marks if there are multiple coupons. (Bisquick at $2.50 + 4 $0.60 tick marks from shortcuts and cellfire means $0.10 Bisquick, for example)

Also, on shortcuts, multiple coupons deduct only if they have different expiration dates. If you somehow wind up with the same coupon AND same expiration date, only one per item comes off.

I have a question: how do you keep track of all the eCoupons that you have on your cards and pair them with deals? I mean, do you print out a list what coupons you have on a particular card and compare and add, or what? My brain can't keep them straight! Thanks.

I work as a cashier/checker and in customer service at one Bellevue, WA Safeway. I am also a very frugal, coupon-loving shopper because I make minimum wage, so I do know about these eCoupons. The employees are not given training or even talked to about these eCoupons and since they are an online promotion, we can't do anything if the savings do not come off at checkout. I have seen some work, and others not. It's a pain Sorry for the inconvenience.

I had heard that as of the 1st Kroger was no longer allowing ecoupons. Haven't tried yet, but you may want to do a test first before buying a bunch of stuff and the coupons not working. Its too bad because I just started using them, mosting thanks to this website.

You can use ecoupons at QFC as well as Safeway and Freddies. Not sure if there are QFC's in portland, but I have one here in east Vancouver.
