People always lament the high cost of disposable diapers. While it’s nearly impossible to get free diapers, it is possible to get substanital savings by combining a great store sale with manufacturer’s coupons (like the Walgreens sale starting tomorrow). The thing with diaper deals is that they almost always require a bit of work — a multiple coupon transaction, several trips to the store or submitting your receipt for a rebate. It’s just part of the game.
For instance, two weeks ago I was able to score a great deal on diapers and other stuff at Walgreens for just around $13 total out-of-pocket:
- 3 packs of Huggies diapers
- 6 bottles of Children’s Tylenol
- 2 bottles of Dove Men’s bodywash
- 4 bottles of Ajax dishwashing soap
- 4 bottles of Mott’s Apple Juice
Amazing. But remember, I had to complete seven different transactions in order to swing this deal. It required work, but I calculate that I made about $28 an hour in savings. Definitely worth my time.
I do this to show you that diaper deals are a bit unlike other deals. They will always require a bit of work. But the savings, at least in my book, are totally worth it.
If you’re looking to get on a great diaper deal without leaving your house, be sure to take advantage of the current Diapers.com deal, which is available to new Diapers.com customers.
You can get Luvs, Pampers, Huggies or the Diapers.com brand diapers for substantially less than buying Huggies at Costco or the Walmart store brand. The only “extra” work you have to do is submitting your receipt for a $14.97 rebate.
