It’s week two of the Fill-A-Backpack campaign and I finally completed my second trip this morning. We’ve been camping for the last five days and this is what I’ve been doing instead of buying school supplies:
Could he be any more delicious?
Fred Meyer is challenging me to take $150 and see how many school supplies I can get into five backpacks. Today I scouted out the best Price Blaster items available through Saturday. Here’s what I scored during this trip:
$20.43 total spent — Go here for all the details
I realized while walking down the aisle that the Fred Meyer Associate Discount Pass starts tomorrow. I almost walked out of the store, but then reconsidered once I realized that I would have to bring all four kids to the store tomorrow instead of just my five-year-old shopping angel, Willy. That’s worth paying 10% more, right?
You would agree if you were shopping with my husband, two younger boys and me a few weeks ago while the toddler (same one pictured above) was screaming for an hour while running away from my husband with a poopy diaper hanging down his leg. Not even exaggerating. I kept muttering, “That was horrible” to my husband as we drove home.
I still have about $39 left on my Fred Meyer Gift Card to spend on school supplies to donate to the Salvation Army. I am waiting to see what new Price Blasters Fred Meyer releases on Sunday and then I’ll load up before the FM Associate Discount pass expires on Monday. Can’t wait!
