For all of you that have had bad Walgreen experiences, I wish I could send my St. Helens Walgreens cashiers to train yours. They’re awesome! And I did the Cottonelle deal yesterday and it worked fine.

I got so fed up with Wags that I sent them a letter to tell them all about it. I was professional and courteous — mare than I could say about their employees. And, I included my ‘rewards card.’ I am yet to see any reward from it at all.

I had a great experience with the Oregon City Walgreen’s yesterday! Vickie was wonderful and let me do a total of 6 transactions. I was patiently waiting in cosmetics for a fellow couponer to finish her transactions and she came and got me. My total savings was 75%!!! I highly recommend them and if Vickie is there, go to her line!

Jackie-I LOVE Vickie. I hit up the Oregon City WAGS first thing Sunday morning for the first time. She is so sweet and helpful not to mention very friendly. I had such a great experience I actually emailed corporate to tell them about it. Now…if we could only get a hold of her work schedule and schedule our shopping trips around her! Hahaha

I just did my first couponing trip to Walgreens (39th & Belmont) and have to say it was a very positive experience for me. The cashier was extra helpful, explaining how to use the RR’s to my advantage, letting me do multiple transactions, etc… just to throw a little confidence back out there that not all Walgreen’s have poor customer service.

FYI the Jamba juice smoothies at my Freddys did not have the signage that they were $2, but rang up that way!

FM also has Nature’s Path cereal 30% off this week, making several varieties just $2.02/box. Use the $1/1 coupon from the Spring Healthy Clippings booklet (New Seasons) or from the Chinook book to get them for $1.02/box.

I didn’t know FM took the Healthy Clippings coupons… I thought they were special to particular stores. But I will gladly give it a try 🙂

I thought so too but I tried it a while back without any issues. I’ve used them a few times since and never had a problem.

I’m so glad you mentioned about the price on these! I wound up spending very little on cereal for the month! Thanks 🙂

Walgreens in Sandy is AWESOME to couponers and always tries to make the deals work. They allow the BOGO coupon plus $ off coupon so I’m gonna get my free Tasters Choice Instant Coffee. They even ordered as many as I had coupons for. LOVE about 3 of the managers there, Melanie, Brandon and can’t remember the other guy…..but the guys coupon themselves (one has a binder) and Melanie’s just SUPER helpful and friendly.

LOL Not really. 33 cents is an awesome deal for tuna! Just be sure to look to see which one you usually want — water or oil. Last time I bought ten 50-cent tuna. All ended up being in oil. We’re still working on them.

Kraft Mayo or Miracle Whip is 2 for $5, and the $1.50/2 coupon is only good until May 8th, making them $1.75 each WYB multiples of 2 ….its not the best deal, but my husband goes through Miracle Whip like water!

Ya know, I had a complaint once about Wags, and I went to their site. The corporate takes it SERIOUSLY. They send your complaint directly to the store manager, who CALLS you!

That’s not always true. I’ve complained several times on their website about a discrimination issue we had at Walgreens and no one has ever contacted us. I simply refuse to ever set foot in that store ever again!

I agree about Walgreens, I tried to do some deals today and only about half worked. Plus my daughter said “That lady was really annoyed you were using coupons,” which pretty much sums up the experiences I’ve had at most of the Vancouver Walgreens. I feel like I go over the top to be polite and organized to no avail. I’m through with Walgreens!

It might not be personal. Of all things, this cashier I was *sure* felt the same way when I bring in coupons was off work today. Guess what she was doing: buying things in there — with coupons! Some people just need to learn friendliness has to come at the top of cashiering!

Thanks for the info Erin. I will shop Main St. & 4th Plain at lunch ’cause it’s by my work. I’ve shopped there a few times but will make it a number 1 store. Anyone have any good/bad experience at the Salmon Creek Walgreen’s. That’s where I usually will shop if I’m not at work.
