The great pumpkin post

Autumn is my most favorite time of year.  Nothing says comfort like pumpkin spice lattes, cold evenings, leaves changing colors and PUMPKINS!

I would put pumpkin in just about everything.  But I draw the line at pumpkin lasagna, which I have made, but pumpkin, in my opinion, is saved for the sweet end of the spectrum.

What a better way to share with you my love of this wonderful gourd than to showcase some of my all time favorite recipes.  And please, please share yours.  The pumpkin love must be spread around.

For the breakfast pumpkin lovers:

::Pumpkin Scones — just like Starbucks.  These are easy to make and taste just like the real thing.

:: Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls — I haven’t tried these, but you bet I will soon.

:: Pumpkin Pancakes

:: Pumpkin Oatmeal — this is a great one for babies.  I fed this to all my kids, with a little less sugar.

Pumpkin desserts:

:: THE Pumpkin Dessert — so delicious!

:: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

:: Pumpkin Cookies

:: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Squares — very easy

:: Pumpkin Cheesecake — my all time favorite!

Happy Autumn and happy pumpkin baking!

Just saw this post, I’ve been slacking! I have never had anything sweet other than pumpkin pie. We do a lot of savory pumpkin cooking. I am excited to try some of these out. Thank you!

I know you already posted a pumpkin cookie recipe, but I LOVE how easy this one is & they are soooooo good! I’ve already made them 3 times and the season has just barely begun!
Pumpkin Cookies
1 spice cake mix
1 small can pumpkin
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix together and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 12 min.

I use a similar recipe. Same as above, but just don’t use the egg (just use 1 spice cake mix, 1 small can pumpkin & 1 cup chocolate chips…Bake at 350 for 10-12mins). Super quick & easy…the kids LOVE helping with this one!
