After much thought, I have decided to change up how I do the Frugal Living NW coupon classes. Starting January 2011, I will be offering two options:
Strategic Couponing: Saving on Food at the Grocery Store and Beyond (60 minutes)
This class is designed to be a beginning couponing class and will focus on using coupons and other savings strategies to significantly reduce your grocery bill. We will also discuss the basics of menu planning, stockpiling and looking outside the typical grocery store to save big on feeding your family.
Advanced Couponing: Scoring at Drug Stores (90 minutes)
This class is designed to be an advanced class and will focus primarily on playing Walgreens and Rite Aid to get the vast majority of your household items for free or nearly free. We will also discuss more complex ways to use Catalinas and eCoupons.
I will continue to offer one coupon class a month for free to participants and hosts — the Strategic Couponing class. I am currently scheduling for January – May, 2011.
The Advanced Couponing class will be a tuition-based class. Tuition will be $10 per person and free to the host with a minimum of 15 paid participants.
If you or your church, non-profit, moms group, friends, etc. are interested in hosting either of these classes, please email me at frugallivingonline [at] gmail [dot] com for more details.
If you’re hoping to attend a class this month, be sure to join me in Salem on October 21!
