Lawry’s is out with a bunch of new ways to make dinner easier and is giving one Frugal Living NW reader a “What’s Your Flavor?” kit.
This kit includes a covered marinade dish (also known as a big baking dish), a set of skewers (also known as swords for little boys) and the following Lawry’s products:
- Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ Marinade
- Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade
- Asian Style Beef & Broccoli Seasoning Mix
- Chimichurri Burrito Casserole Seasoning Mix
- Mediterranean Sundried Tomato & Garlic Chicken Seasoning Mix
- Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala with Garlic and Basil Seasoning Mix
I tried out the Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Marinade last week for dinner.
I love all things in a bottle, and this was a super-easy way to get dinner on the table. I just defrosted the chicken in the marinade, baked it and served it with potatoes and broccoli. It would have been even better with an actual Italian side dish, but I had potatoes and I’m not creative. And this was happening the entire time:
We had so much leftover chicken that I was able to whip up a second dinner. I mixed the chicken with cheese tortellini from the Grocery Outlet, sun-dried tomatoes from Costco and spinach from Safeway.
My husband and I loved it. The kids gagged their way through the meal — next time I’ll chop up the spinach.

Lawry’s, through MyBlogSpark, provided me with the kit, information and giveaway items. All opinions expressed are mine, including the part about the importance of disguising spinach. Only adults understand that it is a tasteless vegetable.
