One of my great desires with this blog is to teach people skills that can help bring families financial freedom and help them reach their financial goals. I know that one goal many of you have is to be able to spend more time at home with your kids and less time working. Couponing and spending money intentionally is a great way to work toward staying home.
I am currently working on an upcoming series giving practical ways families can move towards living on one income and I need your help! If you consider yourself (or your spouse) to be a stay-at-home parent*, would you leave a comment with what your family’s monthly take-home pay is and how many people live in your home? Anonymous comments are okay on this one! This will help me put together the series in a way that is most practical and helpful. Thanks for your help!
*Some of you work very part-time, but really consider yourself to be a SAHM. Include your financial contribution in your calculation.
A quick note: I am not mandating what each family should do nor is my intention with this series to make anyone feel guilty for working outside the home. My desire is to give encouragement and strategies to those of you who desire to be at home more.
