The suits I purchased for myself this year are on sale. I’m sharing this info in case some of you are new to Lands’ End suits or need some confidence in ordering — I always feel better buying something that a girlfriend already owns.
Women’s Long Beach Living Dot Scoop Tankini Swimsuit Top — $22.99
This suit runs on the smaller side and is a bit short, but not too short. If you have a longer torso or really like longer tops, order the “Long” suit. I am a solid 8 and think even a 10 would work for me.
Women’s Regular Shell Beach Floral Print Bandeau Tunic Swimsuit Top — $41.99
This suit runs a bit big and is very long. I ordered a size smaller than I regularly am and it’s on the big side of “fits” for me. I have a size 6 and I think a 4 would have even worked, but that seems like a stretch. Love, love, love this top.
Women’s Regular Shell Beach Solid SwimMini with Tummy Control — $19.99
I only buy bottoms with skirts just because I am more comfortable in them. This bottom is a bit longer than I’m used to but looks really cute on. It runs pretty true to size for me. I don’t like that Lands’ Ends bottoms are starting to get lower cut each season. Just know that if you’re used to tankini bottoms sitting near your belly button you’ll want to make sure the top you order is long.
I know this is WAY more than many of you are used to paying for suits, but some of you are in the same boat as me. Cheap suits just don’t cut it — I need underwire in my tops and thicker material to smooth out the less-than-smooth parts. Target suits just won’t work for me anymore. Four babies will do that to a gal.
What Lands’ End suit do you wear? I just may order another one, especially if I can get it for 50% less than I paid earlier this year!
