I am amazed at the outpouring of support for Joy Kendall from our sweet little community of Damascus, OR. For those of you that don’t know, Joy Kendall (age 10) was critically injured when she was hit by a car on May 10. She is currently in Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. You can keep updated with her condition at the Praying for Joy Kendall Facebook page.
All of you in the Portland Metro area have another opportunity to support the Kendall family. This Sunday (5/16), Pub 212 in Damascus is hosting a Benefit BBQ starting at 1:00 pm. Each plate is $10 and every dollar will go to the Kendall family. My family absolutely loves Pub 212 so not only will you be supporting our dear friends, you’ll enjoy some delicious grub too!
I’ve been searching Facebook and Googling this event and it doesn’t seem to be getting any traction on the web, so I would love it if you all could post this on your Facebook wall and blog if you feel so led!
