Monday: Crockpot Meatloaf – I put veggies in the meatloaf so I figure that counts as my side:)
Tuesday: Stirfry with chicken, red bell pepper, mushrooms, broccoli
Wednesday: Crockpot Honey Lentil Soup, homemade breadsticks
Thursday: dinner at friends
Friday: Crockpot Barbecued Chicken & Cornbread Casserole, salad
Sunday: Crockpot Barbecued Beef Ribs, steamed broccoli
After trying out Crystal’s Yummy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie two weeks ago, Nikolas has been requesting “movies” practically everyday. It took me a while before I realized he wasn’t actually wanting to watch a movie, rather, he wanted a smoothie. It was a lightbulb moment.
Anyway, they are extremely tasty, super easy and healthy as well. Can’t get better than that!
Here’s the recipe: 3/4 cup frozen bananas, 1 T peanut butter, 1 cup milk, blend to your preferred consistency. See! Simple and it is oh so delicious. We have been enjoying these for breakfast, lunches and snacks.
