I purchased the Soap.com deal a few weeks ago and finally put the voucher to use. I made my order on Monday afternoon and it arrived Wednesday afternoon. I specifically chose items that I needed right now instead of spending time finding all the cheapest deals. Here’s what I ordered:
3 Gillette Satin Care shave gels @ $2.45/each = $7.35
1 Ziploc Freezer Bag pack @ $4.49 = $4.49
1 Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes @ $5.69 = $5.69*
1 Always Ultra Thin pads @ $6.15 = $6.15
30% off Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes (-$1.70)
$2/1 Always eCoupon (-$2)
Groupon voucher (-$10)
Total: $10.28 out of pocket ($10 for Groupon voucher + $.28 to Soap.com)
*These are now out of stock.
If you’re looking at regular prices, Soap.com is pretty outrageous. Way more than Walmart or Target. But after the Groupon voucher and the eCoupons, I certainly spent less than buying the generic equivalent at Walmart. And I saved myself a trip to the store.
Groupon is offering the Soap.com voucher once again through tonight (10/7) at 9:59 pm Pacific. You have tons of time to use it (it expires in January), so you can wait for the right eCoupons to come up. Please note that you can only buy one Soap.com voucher through Groupon. If you buy more, Soap.com will reject the second one when you attempt to redeem it.
