Amazon has just released three new Kindle Fire tablets (the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″) and dropped the price of the Kindle Fire HD 7″, 8 GB to just $139. The new 7″ tablet has the same display quality and processing speed of last year’s high-end models but is $60 cheaper!
- Experience movies, TV, and games, and more on a stunning HD display (216 ppi / 1280×800)
- Fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor—apps launch quickly, games and videos play smoothly
- Create profiles and set time limits for children with Kindle FreeTime. Easy-to-use parental controls let everyone enjoy, worry-free
- Ultra-fast web browsing over built-in Wi-Fi, plus updated e-mail and calendar support for Gmail, Outlook, and more
These new models were released this morning. Last Christmas season, Amazon offered a one-day only discount on their Kindle Fire line (I believe it was $20 for the 7″ HD and $40 for the larger models). If you’d like to use a tablet over the next two months, then grab one now. If you’re purchasing for Christmas, it won’t hurt to wait until around Thanksgiving to see if there are any discounts. The price will not increase.
As with all Amazon deals, the price could change without notice. Prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time the deal was posted. The price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase is applicable to the purchase of this product.
