NEW Upcoming Johnson & Johnson $10 Rebate + Deal Scenarios

Shared on January 7, 2010
This post may contain affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. See the disclosure policy for more information.

There’s a new rebate starting Sunday that you will want to be prepared for. Between January 10 and February 5, spend $30 on two or more selected Johnson & Johnson products get a $10 by mail-in-rebate. Participating products:

:: Ambi
:: Aveeno
:: Clean & Clear
:: Purpose
:: Lubriderm
:: RoC

Note that trial sizes and cleansing bars are excluded. The $30 is before manufacturer’s coupons.

The first thing you need to do is to print off the rebate form from Coupons.com in case the form is pulled before you get organized. It looks like this:Next, prepare for the following Safeway & Walgreens deals:

Load the following Safeway Coupon Link eCoupons to your Safeway Club Card:

  • $2/1 Aveeno Body or Baby Care product
  • $2.50/1 Aveeno NOURISH+ Hair Care product
  • $2/1 any Clean & Clear product
  • $2/1 Aveeno Facial Care product
  • $2/1 Purpose Skin Care product
  • $2/1 Lubiderm product
  • $3/1 RoC Skin Care product
  • $2/1 any Ambi product
  • BOGO Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Kit or Refill

UPDATE: Log out of your Safeway account before printing any coupons. You can also try to print coupons from Coupon Bug. If you still can’t print paper coupons after loading them, print them from a different computer.

Then print off the corresponding paper coupons from Coupons.com (you can print two copies of each coupon per computer):

  • $2/1 Aveeno Body or Baby Care product
  • $2.50/1 Aveeno NOURISH+ Hair Care product
  • $2/1 any Clean & Clear product
  • $2/1 Aveeno Facial Care product
  • $2/1 Purpose Skin Care product
  • $2/1 Lubiderm product
  • $3/1 RoC Skin Care product
  • $2/1 any Ambi product
  • BOGO Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Kit or Refill

Are you seeing a trend here? The eCoupons are the same as the paper coupons! That means there should be a double dip when you purchase these products from Safeway. I will come up with some scenarios before Sunday so you all can be prepared.

Starting Sunday also, all the rebate products will be on sale at Walgreens. Get ready for this great scenario:

Lubiderm will be on sale Buy One, Get One 50% off
Buy 2 Lubiderm Lotions (6 oz) = $5.69
Use (2) $2/1 coupons
Use $1/1 Walgreens coupon from Diabetes & You booklet — register will deduct $2
FREE after coupons and $5.69 will go towards your $30 Johnson & Johnson rebate
Thanks, NWA Deals!

    I picked up Aveeno and Lubriderm products for this at Safeway a few days ago. With their ecoupons (first time I've done that & worked great) and the manufactures coupons, Safeway's doubles, AND they had 20%+ off (good until the 26th), it was a great deal! Especially excited to get the Aveeno face cream (for a great price with all of the above, plus the $10 rebate). My old brand of face cream-Dove-reasonably priced, seems to not be carried around here now & all the brands available now are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced! Love this website-just heard about it at a presentation at our church a few weeks ago & I love the philosophy & sharing of "finds"-I check it out almost everyday! and have told many friends about it.

    I just found out that my Safeway doesn't carry Aveeno shampoo and conditioner, which I was planning to get. And Aveeno moisturizer's price wasn't too good. Since I couldn't load the ecoupons from couponlink, I think I'll do this deal at Walgreens or Riteaid…

    I found a $5 off coupon for the blackhead eraser (to pair with the buy the blackhead eraser, get the refill free coupon) on clean and clear's website. I think the blackhead eraser is $20 though (maybe more at Safeway), so only get it if you'll use it or it's free.
    Also, if you have the $10 off $50 safeway coupon, that will help too.

    The safeway e-coupons all have different expiration dates that you can see after you load them to your club card. ALSO many of the coupons available on coupons.com that people are having trouble printing after loading onto their safeway card for the J&J rebate will be coming in this weeks sunday inserts as well as the rebate form, so don't stress out if you aren't able to print, just pick up an extra copy of the Sunday paper 🙂

    When do these Safeway coupons expire? I need to get a new card since I cant seem to load anything up on mine. Not sure how long it will take for that info to get into the system.

    Thanks Heather! I had the same problems mentioned above, but they did print from couponbug.com Only hitch for me was they wouldn't print twice…I hit back, refresh, retry…came up with the "printing your coupons" then the thank you page…only nothing happened. Thoughts? I'll go to my hubby's computer to print the second set.

    Anon & Ruthann,

    I would suggest loading your safeway card with all the great aveeno, clean and clear then go to
    http://www.couponbug.com and use zip code 90210 and it should let you printe the aveeno coupons, I did this this morning and it let me print them just fine. I don't think it's letting you print and or load because this safeway ecoupon is in coorispondence with coupons.com does that make sense?

    OK so you do need another computer if you have already printed the coupons. I was able to load the Aveeno, Lubriderm and the others from my other computer but not from the computer I had already printed them from. If you notice, at the bottom of the Safeway site it is "powered by coupons.com" Interesting!!

    Anon 9:34 — I've read in another post's comments that it's taking a day for some Safeway eCoupons to show up in your account. I'd wait until tomorrow, then try to trouble shoot with Safeway corporate. They should be able to help, since it's their program. But no promises.

    I might have the same problem…I thought I loaded the aveeno ecoupons to my safeway card, but when I checked it later, I couldn't see them in my card. I wonder if it is worthwhile to get another safeway card, say in my husband's name, just to do this deal?? I'm a huge fan of aveeno products!

    Ruthann,

    I am having the same problem. I could not complete the action either. I guess I should have tried to load the coupons before printing them, but I only printed one set before trying to load the coupons onto my Safeway card. I am bummed because my goal this month was to try to stock up on toiletries/health & beauty products. Does anyone have any suggestions??

    I don't think this is a double-dipping promotion. I could print out hard copies from coupon.com. I go to load the safeway ones, and it won't let me complete the action, then when I scroll through the coupons, it says "limit reached". I think coupons.com and safeway (since it uses coupons.com as it's coupon distributor (if you will) keeps track and won't let you do both actions.
    is this right?

    From another blog site, Rite Aid should have some great deals that correspond with this rebate starting next week too!

    This may be a silly question, but does the $30 have to be after coupons? I've had that happen before with a rebate and was really disappointed.

    I think it makes a difference if you log out of your safeway.com account after loading the coupons onto your club card. Then you should be able to print 🙂

    Anonymous & Angela,

    I went to Safeway yesterday and loaded some ecoupons. I had already printed the Aveeno coupons so it said limit reached, then I went to coupons.com to print the coupons I just loaded on my Safeway card and it said print limit reached….so I'm thinking you can not print and load the coupons together. I went to CouponBug.com this morning and it let me print the Clean and Clear and Lubriderm coupons I had loaded on my card, so Anon I would try that site out.
    Good luck:-0

    I went to load the ecoupons onto my Safeway card and they said the limit had been reached. Has anyone else experienced this with these coupons? (I never loaded these onto my card and wasn't sure if they were like printable coupons and had only a certain number of total downloads.)
