Oh, the Safeway Possibilities!

Check out the money making score I ran across last week at Safeway:

I found six 4-packs of Yo-Plus Digestive Health yogurt each on sale for $3 each.

$18 total before discounts
-$12 (4) $.50 clearance stickers on each
-$9 (6) $1.50/1 MQs I “bought” from The Coupon Clippers a few weeks ago.
-$2 (4) $.50 double coupons

Total: $5 profit!

That, my friends, is how you get paid to shop–getting produce, meat or other staples that are rarely on a great sale or can’t be stockpiled for free. Of course, you have to hit the dairy section at the right time and have high dollar coupons on your person.

And remember, this score is not common. Most of my Safeway trips produce absolutely nothing of couponing value. I usually just leave with the produce I had planned to purchase. Do not be discouraged! I promise, you will hit the jackpot soon!
