Amazon: *HOT* deal on the Lodge Logic 5-Quart Dutch Oven ($25.49 with FREE shipping!)

by Emily from Frugal Living NW on November 11, 2012

Have you been waiting on a sweet deal on a Dutch oven? Here it is: Amazon just dropped the price on their 5-Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven to $25.49 with free shipping!

My Dutch ovens get used on a weekly basis. Not only have I baked dozens of loaves of No-Knead Bread in them (the 5-quart size would work perfectly for this recipe), but I also prefer them over my stock pot for making soup, stew, or chili. The heavy cast iron ensures even cooking, and the heavy lid seals in heat and steam. They are awesome pots.

So sprint over to Amazon to take advantage of this AMAZING price on the Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned 5-Quart Dutch Oven!

Amazon has this Lodge Logic 5-Quart Dutch Oven in stock and ready to ship! As always, Amazon prices are subject to change so jump on this deal now if you’ve been looking for a Dutch oven deal!

I just saw this dutch at winco I think it was 4.5 quarts for 14.99, I’m not sure if it’s the same but it’s half price.

Just ordered mine too. I also signed up for Amazon Prime which includes free 2 day shipping – I just have to cancel it within 30 days. So it was a double score. I love that its pre-seasoned & ready to go!

Brilliant! You unknowingly came up with a fantastic idea for a Christmas present for my little bro. He has been showing interest in baking and is about to move out on his own. Hooray for creative gifts for those that are hard to shop for. Thanks Emily!

I liked the idea on the no-knead bread idea to give a dutch oven as a house warming gift with the recipe… what about the dry ingredients in a zip bag with instructions? I am not sure how far in advance you can mix the yeast in with the flour & salt?

Either way, now would be a good time to stock up for upcoming weddings, etc.

…or bake a loaf in yours and give it with the new dutch oven with a recipe card?

Thank you, Emily! I often see using a dutch oven to bake bread in when I am at King Arthur Flour’s recipes site and I have been wanting to try that.

The Amazon price is lower than anything we were finding locally here in Alaska. Just ordered it, thank you again!!!
