Barnes and Noble: 26 kid’s books for $25.74 shipped plus 8% cash back

by Angela on December 27, 2010

Barnes & Noble has put tons of children’s books on clearance right now, many of them as low as $.99 each. If you’re looking to buy 26+ books (or want to team up with a friend) you can score quite a deal. Here’s how to do the deal:

:: Go to Ebates and search “Barnes & Noble.” Click the orange “Shop Now” button. You will be taken to Barnes & Noble’s website.

:: Add 26+ bargain books ($.99) to your cart.

:: You will receive FREE shipping when spend $25+ (you don’t need a code).

You will receive 8% cash back from Ebates after your purchase. Go directly to Barnes & Noble if you want to skip the whole Ebates thing.

Thanks, Queen Bee Coupons!

there’s an offer to get free shipping with a 2 month free trial membership on their website. Maybe this way you could get free shipping without having to order so many books?

Absolutely! Just note when your trial membership is over on your family calendar so you remember to cancel it.

Thanks for the heads up … stocked up on lots of great books for the next year (both for my kiddo and some birthday gifts for those last minute parties!)

I had problems ordering with barnes and noble with the last deal ($5 off $10 toy and inexpensive DVDs). They ran out of the one item and canceled my order and the other item, a DVD, was barely supposed to ship before Christmas (scheduled for the 23rd) and not guaranteed to arrive in time. This for an order placed in November! I tried canceling the DVD on-line and couldn’t. I finally had to call and talk to customer service and go through a bunch of hoops to cancel the item.

After all of that, they mailed me the DVD I’d just canceled a week later. (It had definitely not shipped when I’d canceled it.) I still haven’t sorted back through the credit card bill to find out what happened with the charges.

That was my first and last order with Barnes and Noble. I hope you all have better luck with them with this deal. Just beware.

I can view things on the website but once I add something to my cart I automatically get kicked out. Anyone with a similar problem? Maybe it’s just bogged down because so many others are trying to take advantage of this deal?

PS thank to you and all these deals I might get my 2011 Christmas shopping done before any of my friends/family even start! Thank you!!!
