This will be of particular interest for my fellow bloggers. As many of you know, I attended the Savvy Blogging Summit earlier this month and was completely blown away at all the things I learned. The sessions were super informative, speakers highly qualified and it was a pleasure to meet other bloggers who have the same passion for their readers and blogs as I do.
The Savvy Blogging team is offering a FREE download of the Summit’s opening keynote address by J.D. Roth (from Get Rich Slowly). You can also download audio and worksheets from the other sessions for $10 each, which in my opinion is an absolute bargain. I found the following sessions particularly helpful:
CSS/Code Design by Joy Miller — so helpful as you consider how readers interact with your site; taught by the super-popular designer from Five J’s.
Effective Monetization by J.D. Roth — great ideas on how to create multiple streams of income from your site.
Law/Accounting by Jim Summers — the tedious, but necessary, part of having a small business.
Media Kit Workshop by Melissa Hourigan — probably the best session I attended; way more info than just creating a media kit.
Photography by David Mejias — fantastic ideas on how to take great pictures; this would be helpful even for non-bloggers looking to take great photos.
SEO Tips and Strategies — so helpful; explains SEO simply.
These downloads will be beneficial for anyone looking to take their blog to the next level or those of you considering starting a blog as a means of extra income.
