Ours was well over $25, shipped by Amazon. When my husband tried to use the credit, it said it had already been used. Not true. Grrr.

woo-hoo, just used it on the BRM pizza mixes and a few other things.
Thought I lost the $5 credit too, but found that one of the items wasn’t shipped by Amazon. I was deciding between 2 items and it was 1 of them, so went back and switched to the other, poof – there’s the $5 credit.

I had it in my cart and then closed out to come back to later. When I came back the coupon is gone. How do you get it back?

Are you sure it’s gone?
I didn’t get around to finishing my order until today and I thought mine was gone too until I got to the very last page of confirming my order and it took it off as a promotional credit.

Yep, not a huge fan of what a person is allowing Facebook to access simply to get this coupon.

I have a separate Facebook account for just such occurrences as this. It has no real information about me and the only “friends” it is linked to are other couponing friends pseudo accounts. It is linked to a junk email account that I also use so that I don’t have to deal with the stuff I don’t want, but can still get some good deals.

Me too!
It’s the easiest way to contain the madness of junk that is sent your way after an offer like this!

You can pair this with Amazon’s current sale on some select toys (40-50% off or more). Options include several Angry Birds games (like Knock on Wood for $9.99 and On Thin Ice for $7.99, regular $19.99 each), Angry Birds Star Wars small plushes, some Beyblades (on sale for $6.29 each, a pretty good deal), and a really nice looking K’Nex set. The $5 came right off for me. I was well over the $25 minimum, but it was still nice, because it made the good deals even better. Link to the right Amazon page (while the deals last, of course):

So I’m not sure how amazing a deal this is or not, but we needed t.p, bad! So Seventh Generation has (4)12 packs for $30.48 right now. There is also a $6 coupon AND the $5 credit came off as well. If you do the sub & save it ends up being $17.96 or about .37/roll. I had gift cards, so i paid much less than that, but thought I’d throw it out there…

I put an item priced 29.90 in my cart and choose the free super saver shipping, $5 dollars comes off but it still shown $6.16 for shipping and handling. I don’t knoe what I am doing wrong?

Kate December 5, 2012 at 5:10 pm

Sometimes you have to change it to super saver shipping. It’s not the default.

Angela December 5, 2012 at 6:22 pm

And you might also have to spend $25 out-of-pocket to get the free shipping?

Thank you! Should be noted, you need to purchase $25 worth of items that are shipped by Amazon. I had some additional items to get it to $25 and the $5 wouldn’t apply.
