Sammy’s fat foam if you printed a $5.00 cpn a few months ago and weren’t able to use it made OOP $3.99 and then 5 ups making it. A $1.01 money maker. If you have the gold discount it rang up $7.99 so 2.01 money maker!

I used one of those coupons as well and was pleasantly suprised that it didn’t beep. Last time I tried to use the coupon it wouldn’t scan correctly.

Melody do us Pac.NW peeps get the $10 back when we spend $75 at Rite Aid by December 24th or does that deal not include us.

If it does do you know if it’s $75 before coupons & +Ups or after?

      Janene,
Everyone does not have the same deal (like the $10 UpR when you spend $75 that you mention). I have yet to figure out how they determine who gets what deal.
I have the gold discount with over 2,000 points and received a $10 UpR wyb $75 offer. My sister has the gold discount and received a $5 UpR wyb $50 offer and it sounds like other people have gotten a variety of different offers besides those. I have hunted around on RiteAid’s website and asked the employees at the store, but have found no additional information about the promotion. It sure would be nice to know what products are included and other details. Personally, I don’t think it will be an issue for me to earn the UpR since my 1 transaction yesterday earned me $45.11 towards it. My sister actually earned her $5 UpR after doing her 1 transaction. Seems like most everything must be included and the total is added before coupons because we both paid under $10 in cash.

I actually haven’t heard anything about it! I’m wondering if the next week’s ad will mention anything? They have run similar deals in years past and all participating items have been listed in the ads. I’ll keep an eye out.

I was surprised to see it on my card too-that one has the 20% discount & is the $10 +up.
Used my friend’s today-she is at 10% and it didn’t show anything on hers-so I will be interested to see how this works out! Yeah for rite Aid-always giving us more 🙂
Also surprised to see the P&G listed how much I had for the +up (about $32)-& not that I reached my limit-which I expected. Anyone know if it may give more than the 1 +up that was advertised?

I didn’t notice it until I read you comment and went back to look at my receipt. Mine also shows the total I spent ($31.14) and not listed under the UpR offer limits reached. I don’t think I want to spend the extra money just to see if it would print another one though.

I’m in the 20% crowd (wow!) and I don’t remember seeing an offer on my last receipt….I’ll keep my eye open on my Sunday trip. I also noticed that it was tracking my P&G purchases even thought I reached the limit of 1. If it is more than 1+Up I can always get more laundry stuff.

I too have not seen any of these offers. There is a $10 +UP on $50 promo running from 10-3 to 1-1 on a bunch of sugar-free and diabetes-oriented products (it’s in the SCR catalog for November).

            November 27, 2012 at 9:23 pm

I talked to my nice knowledgeable cashier today (also a fellow couponer) and she said these extra +ups are random: amounts do vary-they haven’t seen anyone with out the 10 or 20% get them. So far I have seen on 3 different cards-different amounts on two 20% cards & none on the 10% card.
Janene-I asked too about how it is tracking the P&G purchases (and doesn’t list it as max offer reached) & she said don’t be fooled-it definitely isn’t printing more than one +up per card.

Now I have seen a card with only 170 points get a 5+up for $50. Look closely I almost missed it-it was on top of the $15 +up and after the covergirl tide totals.

Buy one-get one free GE CFL bulbs are a good deal in my book, especially with the $1 video values coupon, good on 2 packs. At my store, 2 packs were ~$12.99 and 3 packs were in the $16 to $18 range, depending on wattage.

I bought two R30 GE flood light CFL bulbs (15 W, replacement for 65 W) for $11.99 and paid with my UP rewards from the Home Improvement gift card. Amazon price for one bulb is $10.23.

The R30 bulbs have a half-second delay and some warm-up time, like old style CFL bulbs, but looking at Amazon and Walmart, there are no other good R30 CFL choices.

If you want CFL bulbs and have UP rewards to spend, I think it’s a great sale.

Came up with a different scenario for the P&G deal which includes the Covergirl/Olay $10 Rebate.
    Buy 2 Covergirl/Olay Ageless Sculpting Blush $13.99/$6.99
    Buy 4 Covergirl eyeshadow $3.39/$1.69
    Total = $31.14
Use $3/1 and $1/1 Covergirl/Olay coupons and 2 $3/2 Covergirl coupons, submit for $10 MIR and receive a $15 UpR.
Total $3.86 Moneymaker (not including tax)
There are countless ways to do this deal, this is just what worked with the coupons I had and I have already completed the $50 P&G rebate.

I found it near the front entrance on the security post. The tearpad form is really small but it was taped to a large advertisement. I have heard that other people have found them near the Covergirl products so you could look there as well. The rebate ends on 11/30 so there is only a few days left.

Corn dogs, yum! I haven’t had those in years, but they fit in the same category as hotdogs. I eat them as an excuse to eat tons of mustard. Love me some yummy mustard!

and it scanned but wouldnt take off the type of kisses I got.and the cashier said it shows the big bag so it must be off them, and with the coupon printed the way it did couldn’t see if the coupon was off “any” or just the big bags

I have always used black & white & haven’t had trouble printing the rite aid coupons-so don’t think it is that.

I got some $2 coupons for the Centrum Flavor Burst that printed in some of my receipts this week. They will make the deal a $1 moneymaker. So you guys should check your receipts 😉

Also, I think there is a $5 VV coupon on 100 picture prints. It would make Melody’s scenario even better. You would pay $24.97 and get a $5 +up reward.

I have one; must have gotten it during recent trip to Fla. Mom saved me two months’ worth of circulars. I picked up a hard-to-get Advil PM cpn and also Garnier. Used the Advil at Walgreens Thursday, making it a moneymaker.

Sorry, I was out of state for 10 days, and really sick to boot, so didn’t read the flnw posts as religiously as usual. We are SO lucky in the Pacific NW to have so many choices. Publix supermarket dominates the area where Mom lives in South Florida; their prices are high and of course no double cpns. Also no RA, just 10000 Walgreens stores. Not to mention their pesky 6% sales tax.

This is on the sale that lasts through Saturday-but wanted to let others know too:
Unexpectedly got extra +ups on the arm & hammer detergent-2-$2+ups! making it a $1 money maker! Plus have never gotten free detergent before 🙂
Looks like the $2 one is limit of two items. I got the regular liquid detergent-don’t know if it would work on the tablets or not.

Another good find good through Saturday (and I would like to add-would be great gifts to donate to toy drives for the older girls-who often don’t get as many donations):
The $3.49 nail gift set that has the $2.49 +up is tracking for a Christmas cosmetic +up-$5 when you buy $15-I believe the next two items in the 3 day ad also apply to this (which also have +ups in addition!)-I was in there & looked like all the gift sets had the $5+up sign-here are two scenarios:
      Buy one $3.49, two $2.49 & one $7.99 item-get the $5 +up and a $2.50 + up-2-$1 +ups and one $2 +up=$4.96 for 4 items.

      Buy 3 of the $3.49 items (limit of two $2.50 + ups) and 2 $2.49 items (=2-$1 +ups) and the $5 +up=$3.45 for 5 items!!

Did a similar deal for this yesterday, Charolyn.
I went ahead and bought 2 of the $3.49 nail polish sets since they were so cute! Also got 2 of the $2.49 sets (actually rang up as $2.39 with my discount) and 1 of the 7.99 nail polish sets.
        Such a great deal!

Well I struck out twice today-apparently the cosmetic kits aren’t tracking (even though they are on the bottom of the receipt) across different purchases-so I didn’t get the extra $5 +up. Will call customer service Monday-I think I should get that one.
Also tried the arm & hammer tablets & they didn’t print out the extra +ups. Still $1.50 was a good price for those-so not so bad.

Correction on the cosmetic gift sets-I mixed up my cards-so my fault-not that is wasn’t tracking.
