I haven’t personally checked the details on this, but apparently there is a monthly +UP Reward running that will double dip with this week’s amazing sale on Colgate products. Here are the details I know on the monthly reward: Spend $25, Get $10 +UP Reward – limit 4 (through 3/6).
Here’s a possible scenario for you:
Purchase:
(4) Colgate Total Advanced or Sensitive Toothpaste on sale $3.50
(5) Colgate 360 or Sensitive ProRelief Toothbrush $2.49
Use (4) $.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste coupon from 2/12 SS insert
Pay $23.45, Get (4) $3.50 +UPs, (4) $1.50 +UPs and $10 monthly +UP
FREE + $6.55 overage after coupons and rewards
Both of these items qualify for the “Winter Rewards” program as well, so you will have $26.45 towards the $100 total you need.
If anyone else knows of additional qualifying items or comes up with any other scenarios, please let us know. What a fantastic stock-up deal!
Be sure to check out the rest of this week’s Rite Aid deals here.
Thanks Southern Cali Saver!

I heard about a Colgate/Palmolive Rebate going on, spend $10, get $5.
Although on their website the form is no longer available.
Does anyone here have an extra one that they’d be willing to send me?
I’ll exchange for coupons????
Thanks
For those who can’t find enough toothpaste or brushes, this is what I did 3 toothpastes=10.50 plus 3 Advil products ($4.99*3) $14.97. I only had 3 $1/1 coupons for the Advil stuff. Received $10 UP and 3 $3.50 ups for a total of $20.50 in ups. Plus I will turn in the Advil for a $10 Rebate so I will make $8.03 on this deal! Plus I am stocked on Children’s advil for 2 years hopefully.
Do I need to buy all the toothbrushes & toothpastes in one transaction to get the $10 Up+ rewards or I can do multiple transactions and still get the $10 rewards?
I’m reasonably sure it’s a cumulative deal that allows you to make the total in multiple purchases because my receipt shows I have $14 banked toward this deal after yesterday’s toothpaste purchase.
Yes that is right I have done it twice now & the amount left over (over $25) from the first time, also added to the second time.
Hi, are you saying you can do multiples using just one Wellness Plus card number? I know someone who has three and does the $100/$20 deal on each one separately.
This particular deal (the $25/$10 +UP) has a limit of 4 & goes on all month! the monthly $100/$20 I am quite sure only has a limit of 1.
I also have two cards-one for me & one for my husband that I work off of. Also I sometimes shop for my friends (as I have more free time) & use their cards too.
I posted earlier about my cashier in Eugene telling me you can’t use UP’s until the next day. I went back later today and used my UP from this am and it scanned fine. I guess they just have the right to tell you you can’t do multiple transactions anymore if they want.
I think some of them are enforcing the rule and some not. It probablly depends on the supervisor. Retail can be a hard job sometimes; policy changes and different people make it always challenging 🙂
Thank you Melody, for these posts, I really appreciate them too!!
Just depends on your cashier and your store. Also, if you are a regular and if you are on a one-on-one with the people who work there. That really helps…….A LOT!
So true about the cashiers. I reward my favorite ones with homemade fudge or Qs for free items, usually around the holidays.
What goes around, comes around.
I was able to do this deal twice once for me and my sister. It’s awesome. Am I the only one wondering how RA is able to do this? Basically giving it away for free! I love RA too much to want to see them closed down!!!
Yes I was able to do the deal except I didn’t buy the toothbrushes, just the toothpaste and it was a Triple Play!! Received all four UPs for 3.50 and the monthly UP for $10, with no fuss, no muss. And since it qualifies for the Winter Rewards, added $14 towards it. Submitted the Colgate Palmolive rebate and I’m doing my happy dance!!
Not sure how you got the $10, which requires a $25 min purchase of Advil/Colgate products. Perhaps you bought some earlier in the month? Also, I’m not aware of any Colgate rebate, unless it was not offered here in Portland. I know Colgate/Palmolive traditionally does a $10 (I think) rebate around this time each year. Fred Meyer used to carry those rebate forms. What’s the deal this time?
The Colgate/Palmolive rebate was in the 1/29 SS, but it only appeared in some regions (not Portland). 🙁
Howard, it is part of the monthly UP+ that tracked purchases for Advil, Thermacare, etc.
Right, that’s what I meant–she must have made prior purchases under that program to get the $10, not just the $14 in Colgate.
The Colgate Palmolive rebate was regional and I received my form from friends on the East Coast. It is wierd how they didn’t print it in the NW papers!
Kiki do you (or anyone else for that matter) happen to have an extra rebate form? We didn’t get it in my area. If so, please contact me at biogirljc@hotmail.com. Thanks!
No Miss Jay, I don’t…Sorry!
My toothpaste UPs rang up as cologne spray as well for 4.00 ea! I had to buy an extra toothbrush cause I was a dollar short on the 25.00 deal. I’m in Tacoma,WA off bridgeport
Met an active couponing “stranger” at King City, OR RA this morning who gave me two of her 75-ct Colgate toothpaste cpns. I bought 4 @ $3.50 and used 3 cpns. All 4 Plus-Ups printed out, and I used them immediately on the Prevacid deal. Paid $26.09 each (after 10% Wellness discount) less $4 cpn on each one, total $44.18. I should receive either $18.09 or $22.09 from Novartis for the rebate, I guess, plus the $10 Plus-Up that printed out at the store. Best of all, it qualified me for the $20 monthly Wellness Plus-Up that I wasn’t even trying for; I had $48 banked and wasn’t going to pursue it. Instead, the Prevacid became a moneymaker for me.
Hi, Howard. I would recommend you use a sharpie to cross out the UPs on your receipt. Last time Novartis ran their Prevacid rebate, they only reimbursed people for their out-of-pocket portion. (Their “reasoning” behind this decision was all screwed up!) Anyways, I wound up receiving only $8 because I used primarily UPs to pay for it. I was so mad that I contacted their upper management and threatened to file a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General’s office. Soon after, they started sending people a second check with the missing UPs portion. (I like to think it was because of my phone call…wink, wink!) Anyways, this was all very recent (last month, with the second checks) so I’m not sure they have all the kinks worked out yet with this new rebate. Blacking out the UPs discounts might help to avoid any “confusion” during processing.
Thanks, will try that because I had the same concern before you wrote this. I used about $17 in +ups toward this purchase and wondered if they’d subtract that amt and force me to call Novartis and bug them. I called them once before, either for nonreceipt of a prior Prevacid deal or an underpayment.
Worked for me at the Gresham store. They had plenty of toothpaste, but not many toothbrushes.
Will the double dip still be available on thur.?
Definitely. The $10 UP is through rest of month I believe and the UPS for toothpaste and toothbrushes are until Saturday, at least in Oregon.
Thank you DeAnna.
I did this deal this morning and the strangest thing happened! Bought 4 Colgate toothpastes and 5 toothbrushes….I received the $10 +UP and (4) $4 +UP’s for “cologne spray” of all things! Not sure what happened in their system. Although I bought a few other things, I am certain these mysterious +UP’s didn’t generate from these other items since I didn’t buy 4 of the same item (only 4 of the toothpastes). Wierd!
I got the $4 cologne spray up for my colgate as well! I’ll take the extra 50 cents!!
This worked for me at the Oregon City Riteaid! Sweet deal! The up rewards added up to $30!
My store didn’t print the $10 so I had to go back and get another toothpaste since the toothbrushes were all gone. I also have to wait until tomorrow to use the UPs.
I just did this deal and rolled my ups and it tracked it and I got the $10.00 up. Thanks for posting the deal. 🙂
Thanks Melody! We really appreciate all of your work in posting these deals to save our families some serious cash!!! You are AWESOME!
Thank you Lisa, it’s so wonderful to hear such uplifting comments. So fun to share such great scenarios!
I just got back from RA in salem on Center and they had lots of stock on paste and brushes. All my plus ups printed too! I love free stuff!
I’m in Portland went to the Se Division and CCblvd store, I got 5 tooth brushes and (4) tooth pastes and got $30 in various +up rewards. I have so much tooth paste!
I was just told by my store in Eugene, OR that I couldn’t use my UP’s for 24 hours. I had a 2nd transaction ready to go and had to leave it. They said they just got an email and said their coupon customers were telling them it was true. I thought this was just in the test market!
Are you and DeAnna shopping at Rite Aid on Willamette?
Yes, which Rite Aid? I just rotated my +ups at the coburg road store, no problem, but they are really awesome there!
I had this happen to me a month or so ago. I asked if it was printed in the coupon policy and unfortuanly it is. It’s on the RA card broucher on the back it’s states we can’t use our Up’s until 6 am the next day. 🙁 it seems some stores are impalmenting it now, some are still allowing rolling but it is printed that you cant use it until the next day.
Very true. I posted the same info on this site a couple weeks ago after a cashier showed me the brochure, but I also rolled my Plus-ups that same visit in Tigard and again today in King City RA.
I went to the Barger one in Eugene
and the lady said they wouldn’t scan. She was going to try it for me, but then her supervisor was up there and she ended up not doing it. It appears they will scan based on other peoples comments, so I may just go to the coburg rd store this afternoon and hope they still have some toothpaste!
The barger store is grumpy….I only go there if I am going to winco because of that.
I shop there usually. I don’t like to take more than 2-4 of something depending on stock so if I want more I will go to the one on Coburg to get more. My store is smaller, but the employees are great there!
Where were you told this??
I got all 4 toothpaste UPs (and the others listed) at the Murray and Allen location in Beaverton just minutes ago. Didn’t have trouble with stock….toothbrushes were running lower in stock than the paste.
Misprint again! You can only buy 1 toothpaste and get a $3.50 +up.
Oh no! I’ve seen several comments on other blogs that people were getting 4 +UPs for the toothpaste? That’s frustrating. Has anyone else been able to do it as the ad is listed?
I received 4 UP rewards this morning for the toothpaste. Be careful on the Vicks deal though, it didn’t print for that.
What city are you in?
I’m in Eugene, Oregon
yes we purchased 4 colgate toothpastes this a.m. and received all 4 up+ for $3.50 each, plus the monthly $10 up+
This morning I did just the toothpaste and received (4) $4 ups.
I got all four in Medford.
I got my four too..and the vicks. You can call customer service probably.
I am in Eugene, too!
What Rite Aid do you shop at? I go to the one on Willamette usually, but have been known to travel to all when stock is low.
They just gave me a $3 gift card for the Vick’s deal. I am in the store almost every day for one thing or another and get along great with the staff.
I bought two this morning and both $3.50 Ups printed for me. I’m in Newberg, OR
Did anyone’s store tell them the UPS for the Colgate toothpaste was only printing 1? I’m in Portland and that’s what my store said….ad was a “misprint”. My store is generally great, so I’m not thinking they’re being shady…..
I bought two today & got two ups.
I bought 4 today in Vancouver, WA and got 4 UpR’s. Maybe it’s their way of handling a popular deal with limited stock on hand?!
I don’t have any other scenarios but other qualifying items for the monthly UPR includes colgate, thermacare, dimetapp, and advil…. SO excited to see that the UPR limit is 4 because I did a $12 moneymaker last week with thermacare & optic white toothpaste. Awesome these doubledips on items in the winter resolutions promo!! After this scenario, I will have $77 towards it on ALL free or moneymaker items!! I have to go back and look specifically, but I’m gonna end up getting that $20 UP with no or negative OOP expense….LOVE Rite Aid! And love this site’s matchups, so detailed and nuanced!
Ditto for me too…$72 toward Winter Rewards without any OOP and most or all Moneymakers!! Tons of free items, rebates which just make these deals sweeter and helping our family save tons of money and stock up on things we use, which is a huge bonus.
We both only bought 4 toothbrushes and the 10.00 up printed. 23.96. (and the 4 toothpaste)
Will these work for the colgate rebate as well?
I did this at midnight. It basically worked…..the 10.00 up printed even though it’s a little short of 25.00. Our ups for the toothpaste and toothbrushes themselves didn’t print but they gave us a credit for them….probably too close to midnight.
Problem will be toothbrush stock. I got 4, and my friend got 4 only leaving 2 on the shelf. I only got one paper last week so I didn’t use coupons. Still a money maker without them.
