Through the end of this week (1/28), Rite Aid is running their “Resolution Rewards” promotion. Once you spend $100 in participating products BEFORE manufacturer coupons, you will receive an additional $20 +UP Reward. I earned mine last week with a total spent out of pocket of $36.26, with $45 in +UP Rewards left to spend!
If I had not received my reward last week, this is the scenario I would have done. Just in case any of you need some inspiration.
Just for Men Hair Color $5.99
L’oreal Youth Code Regenerating Skin Care Foaming Gel Cleanser $7.99
Aleve Caplets or Tablets (50 ct) $5.99
GE CFL Light Bulbs (1 pack) $3.99
(2) Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars $.50
(2) Hershey’s Air Delights Bars $.50
Use $.55/1 Just for Men coupon
Use $3/1 Youth Code coupon from 1/22 RP insert
Use $2/1 Aleve coupon from 12/4 SS or 1/1 SS insert
Use (2) Free Hershey’s Air Delights wyb Hershey’s Milk Chocolate coupon from 1/8 SS insert
Use $5/1 Youth Code Rite Aid Video Values store coupon (January)
Use $1/1 Aleve Rite Aid Video Values store coupon (December)
Use $.50/1 GE CFL Rite Aid Video Values store coupon (December)
Out of pocket spent: $12.91
Submit for: $5.99 Just for Men mail-in rebate
Receive: $4 in +UP Rewards
Total spent towards “Resolution Rewards”: $26
After the mail-in rebate, your total out of pocket cost will be $6.92. After factoring in the $4 +UP Rewards you receive, this is like paying $2.92 for everything in the scenario! There are several items this week you could swap in or out, depending on your household needs or preferences.
There are a few decent diaper deals this week at Rite Aid, so I chose to use my $20 Resolution Rewards on those. Here is my easy scenario:
Pampers Cruisers Big Pack (size 6) $17.59 after Wellness+ discount
L’oreal Youth Code Foaming Gel Cleanser $6.39 after Wellness+ discount
(2) K-Y Warming Liquid $5.29/$2.65
Used $1/1 Pampers coupon from 1/1 PG insert
Used $3/1 K-Y coupon from 1/8 SS insert
Used $2/1 K-Y coupon from 12/4 SS insert
Used $5/1 Youth Code Rite Aid Video Values store coupon (January)
Used $20 “Resolution Rewards” +UP Reward
Total out of pocket: $.92
Received: $9 in +UP Rewards
One thing to note: Only the size 6 Pampers big packs seem to be triggering the $5 +UP Reward and are significantly cheaper than the other sizes. The signage doesn’t state any exclusions, but just for the price alone, I would pick up the size 6 over the other sizes. Your babe will always grow into them.
This has been such a fun month shopping at Rite Aid, I’m a little sad to see the Resolution Rewards come to an end. Can’t wait to see what next month brings! I would love to hear all about your shopping trips. How did you do?
