As most of you know, Rite Aid is running their amazing “Winter Rewards” program again this month: Spend $100 on participating products through March 3rd, get a $20 +UP Reward. I thought I would take you along on my journey to reach $100, to see how little out of pocket I can spend and still reach the $100.
Out of pocket spent: Profit of $1.10
Received: $6 in +UP Rewards
Total spent towards “Resolution Rewards”: $12
GE CFL Light Bulb $3.99
Palmer’s Valentine’s Candy $.88
Used $1/1 GE coupon from 2/12 SS insert
Used $3/1 GE Rite Aid store coupon from weekly ad
Out of pocket spent: $.88
Still have: $6 in +UPs
Total spent towards “Resolution Rewards”: $16
Even after this week’s purchase, I still have made a profit of $.22 and have $6 in +UPs to spend. I’ve only spent $16 towards the $100, so I’m hoping for some fantastic deals on items we need over the next few weeks. Even if I don’t hit the $100, I’m pretty thrilled with how little I’ve spent so far.
See you next week for another action-packed installment of “How little can Melody actually spend?”.
I’d love to hear about your shopping trips this week!
