I headed in to Rite Aid this morning armed with my shopping plan and almost everything went according to plan. I had to make a few adjustments and I added a few things once I went back through the full list of match ups, but I was able to score some fantastic deals. What a great shopping week!
I didn’t get the John Frieda products because our area didn’t get the coupons I needed. I added two bottles of the Ocean Spray cranberry juice and used a $1/2 coupon from a recent issue of Better Homes & Gardens. My husband drinks it every day and this was a pretty good price, especially since I was going to be heading to the store anyway. A friend of mine gave me two $5/1 Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel coupons that she had in her stash, so I ended up paying around $.50 per pair of insoles after rebate and +UP Reward.
I ended up paying around $20 out of pocket and still have an $8 +UP Reward to use, which means I only spent about $12 for everything in the picture. That includes a jumbo pack of diapers and a gallon of milk!
One thing to note – The $2.99 sale price for the Bayer aspirin is actually the regular price, so your Wellness+ discount will trigger. If you have your 20% discount, it will look like this:
Bayer Aspirin (81 mg, 32-36 ct) on sale $2.39 w/ Wellness+ discount
Buy 1, Get $2 +UP Reward – limit 1
Use $1/1 coupon from 9/11 RP insert or $1/1 Saving Star eCoupon
Pay $1.39, Get $2 +UP
FREE + $.61 overage after coupon and reward
