As I was planning my Rite Aid trip last night, I briefly skimmed through my non-insert coupons (home mailers, tearpad coupons) and I found two higher value coupons for the Charmin and Bounty than what came in the P&G insert. I had been on the fence about doing the deal because we didn’t desperately NEED either, but with my coupons, they were a fantastic deal!
Tip of the day: Save every coupon that comes your way, you never know when it might come in handy.
Venus disposable razors $5.99 (rang up with my Wellness+ discount)
(2) Oral-B Advantage Plus toothbrushes $2.57
$2/1 Venus disposables coupon from 7/3 PG insert
(2) $2/1 Oral-B Advantage coupons from 7/3 PG insert
Paid $5.13, Received $6 in +UP Rewards
Bounty paper towels (15 pack) $13
Charmin Ultra Strong bath tissue (24 pack) $13
Tide Stain Release (18 ct) $6
$5 off $25 Rite Aid store coupon from home mailer
$1/1 Bounty 6 roll+ coupon from home mailer
$1/1 Charmin coupon from home mailer
$3/1 Tide Stain Release coupon from 6/5 PG insert
$6 in +UP Rewards from previous transaction
Paid $16, Received $10 +UP Reward
Paid $21.13 out of pocket + have $10 in additional +UP Rewards to spend
If I just looked at the Bounty and Charmin purchase, this works out to just $5.57 per item after coupons and rewards. This is significantly cheaper than Costco’s price on these items, not to mention that I also got razors, toothpaste and Tide Stain Release!
I would love to hear about your shopping trips today. There are so many different ways to spin the deals this week, I’m sure some of you came up with some great deal scenarios!
