After the last few crazy weeks at Rite Aid, there just weren’t many knock-your-socks-off kinds of deals this week. However, there is definitely the potential to add to your stockpile on items that are super practical.
Something you may be surprised to know about me is that I don’t do a ton of coupon shopping. I do use some coupons at Albertsons and Fred Meyer, but haven’t been to Target or Walmart in months. I do, however, have a Rite Aid right up the street from me and generally shop there once a week. When a deal pops up at Rite Aid on something we use all the time (like laundry detergent), I jump on it even if it’s slightly higher-priced than another store. It’s worth it to me to not run to several different stores each week.

Pampers Baby Dry Big Pack Diapers $17.59 w/ Wellness+ discount
(2) Kashi Go Lean Crunch Cereal $3
Used $2/1 Pampers coupon from 10/30 PG insert
Used (2) $2/1 $2/1 Kashi coupons (75 points on Recyclebank)
Used (2) $1/1 Kashi Rite Aid store coupon (found on boxes)
Used $15 in +UP Rewards from previous transaction
Paid $.59, Received $4 in +UP Rewards
Final price: $38.23 + I still have $4 in +UP Rewards to spend
I split my transactions up this way, because I knew I could use the $15 +UP Reward towards the diapers. If at all possible, I try not to hold on to the higher value +UP Rewards for too long.
A few things to note:
Apparently, all Venus cartridge refills work on all Venus razor handles (the boxes say so). I have a Breeze handle, but I bought the regular Venus refills as they were significantly cheaper.
The 2 boxes of Kashi I found expire in mid-November, so they had a $1/1 Rite Aid coupon on them (I assume to help them sell). These are bright yellow and if you ever see them, CAN be stacked with a traditional manufacturer coupon. I paid zero out of pocket for 2 boxes and received a $1 +UP Reward. Score!
I know this is a little more out of pocket than my normal transactions, but everything I bought is definitely needed in our house. There are rarely deals on the cartridge refills, although there are TONS of deals on the razor handles themselves. I have been using my husband’s razors and trust me, there is definitely a reason they say mens on them. I am so excited to have my own again!
I can’t wait to hear how you did this week, I am having so much fun shopping at Rite Aid lately!
