You know you are a die-hard couponer when you take your coupon binder with you on vacation! I had $8 in +UP Rewards burning a hole in my pocket so I ventured out to the local Rite Aid here in town on our family vacation.
One great advantage was that I did not have to take my kiddos with me because there were plenty of willing adults around to watch them. No wrestling at the checkout counter, no shopping cart races down the aisles, just peace and quiet. Now that right there friend is a good excuse to go couponing on vacation.
The family wanted smores and I wanted to check out the Nestle deal so I decided to buy some Skinny Cow singles. Substituting peanut butter cups for chocolate is truly decadent. Plus the little individual squares fit perfectly onto the graham crackers.
The bummer part was the peanut butter singles were not part of the +UP deal. The caramel singles worked perfectly. These were the only two varieties in the store. Did anyone else find a discrepancy?
Here is a great way to spend some of your +UP Rewards either from last week or continue to roll them this week (even on vacation!):
(3) Skinny Cow Peanut Butter Singles (1 oz) $.79 (shelf price $.99)
(3) Skinny Cow Caramel Singles (1 oz) $.67
(3) Reach Toothbrush (1 ct) $2.99
Total Before Coupons: $13.34
Used (3) BOGO coupon from 4/28 SS insert
Used $8 +UP Rewards from last week
Paid $3.09, Received $2, $2, $2 and $1 +UP Rewards
Rite Aid Gift Card Balance: $.89
+UP Rewards for next week: $7
Do you ever coupon while you are on vacation?
