Rite Aid is a store that can be quite pricey if you are not playing The Game. (This means you are using coupons on products that are on sale and you are rolling your +UP Rewards from week to week. If you are lost at this point, check out Frugal Living NW’s Ultimate Guide to Couponing to answer all your questions.)
Playing The Game requires you to be strategic with your purchases. One of those strategies is small transactions from week to week or from day to day. This is obviously a bit trickier now that the +UP Rewards you receive on your transaction are not valid until the next day, but it can be done.
Doing small transactions also lowers your out-of-pocket expense from week to week. You are able to build your stockpile of items slowly over time, rather than clearing shelves. Plus your husband will probably appreciate the small bag of items you bring home each week rather than the trunk full of shaving cream you must now find room for in your home!
Here is a great way to spend some of your +UP Rewards either from last week or continue to roll them this week:
(2) Schick Hydro 5 Razor (2 ct) $9.59 (shelf price $11.49)
