The second time I bought 4 small packages for $9.49 each ($37.96) and I used 3 $2 manufacturers coupons for a total of $31.96. It turned into a bit of production – I made the mistake of asking if the cashier knew about the catalina. She called the manager, who hadn’t heard of it but wanted to watch my transaction. Funny! I was really just trying to figure out if the “spend $25″ was before or after manufacturer’s coupons. Had I been shopping alone, I would have experimented, but my son was done with Safeway:-)

I just bought four of the 4/$10 Kellogg’s cereals to use my $4/4 coupons (NLA) and got the Catalina for a free gallon of milk, up to $4 value. So it is working. Catalina expires 3/27/12. Went to another Safeway and did the same deal and got another Catalina for free milk.
maybe im not reading this right but is there a specific size you have to buy to get the milk catalina?

I had a $5 catalina print out for me after buying 2-18 count eggs, 1 box of Nila cookies, and O-tomato paste. Not sure what triggered it but I’ll take it!!

What brand of eggs did you buy?
I bought 2 18 count eggs on Friday and did not get the catalina, but did get a frozen food one, for other items I purchased. Is it possible someone left theirs behind? In the past I’ve had people who don’t want them or forgot them and the cashier has handed me the coupon with mine, because they know I use them.

I got a $5 Catalina last night, along with my $10/$75. Nothing to indicate what triggered it and I didn’t buy any of the products mentioned above…huh. I would have asked the cashier, but didn’t look at my printouts until I was almost to my parking spot.

I got 2 catalina at Rite-aid.
I bought a nail file for 1.38$ and received a $2 catalina for revlon tools.
I then went to buy another nail file from Revlon for $3.48, while it was ringed up, another catalina for $1.00 off Revlon tools shows up again, the cashier applied it right away and I ended up paying 60 cents for a very nice nail file/ shining tool!
