Free Crest, Colgate toothpaste and Ivory hand soap!
They are on sale for .99 each (sale goes until ? usually lasts 2 weeks)
Use .50/1 Crest coupon, Ivory coupon (3/30 PG) or Colgate coupon (4/13 SS) and doubl’r = FREE!
There are also $1/2 and $2/3 Crest coupons which will make for really cheap toothpaste as well.

      Update on the sale dates:
      Colgate/Crest thru 5/6
      Ivory thru 5/13
I got these dates on my local store signs, I find it odd that they have different dates and suspect that the toothpaste sale will continue thru until 5/13.

There is a Just4U coupon for $1.99 for V-8 fusion 46-oz, limit 2. I purchased two today and received a catalina for $1.50 off my next purchase! The V-8 fusion is on sale for $2.50…don’t know if I would have gotten a bigger catalina if I had bought more?

Re-check your J4U personalized deals. I found a free Liberte yogurt deal there today that I don’t recall seeing on Weds.
Mamma mia! Thursday trip to Safeway cost $3.28 after J4U pricing, cpns and Doubler. 2 boxes GG pasta, 3 bags Cooked Perfect Italian meatballs.
Friday trip: 3 bags C&W frozen veggies, 2 boxes GG pasta, 1 All-American $5 Friday sub, total $5.78 after all discounts/cpns.

can you use the coupon for $2 off milk if you buy three Kellogs cereal and use the $1/3 to buy the three cereals? Seems like one coupon is for $ off milk and the other is $ off cereal but both are relying on buying Kellogs cereal? Would appreciate any expertise in this area because it seems like they align well this week.

Yes, that should work. I used a coupon for milk if buying cinnamon toast crunch and then used a coupon for the cereal with no problem.

Just got back from Safeway. Got a 2 liter of refreshe soda for free on the just4U. They have C&W vegetables ( all sorts of varieties) on sale for 3/5. Used the m/c 1/1 in the SS. 4/13 and doubled them and paid .17 a bag! Technically, the coupon says “one coupon per purchase” but they let me use 4 all together with my doubler.

Haha, I already added these to my list this morning. I get 3 papers, so I planned on getting 3 bags. For the record, I eat corn, peas, asparagus, carrots, celery, lettuce, and a couple kinds of beans (never green ones, though).

One coupon means one per each item. You can use 4 like coupons at a time on four products on one trip to the store.

That is true, but Safeway’s (rarely enforced) Doubler policy printed on it says you must buy 4 different products.

Check your J4U personalized deals for Golden Grain pasta for $.89. This matches well with the $1/2 cpns that were in the Sunday paper either 4-6 or 4-13 (don’t see them in the Cpn Database, though). There were also $.75/1 cpns for GG pot-sized pasta, although I have yet to see that product. Also, there were $1/1 cpns for Cooked Perfect frozen meatballs in 4-13 SS. They are $2.50 at Safeway thru 4-20, so only $1 after cpn and doubler. 14-oz size. I usually buy Armour m-balls at WinCo for $1.98 or so, but will give these a shot.

I get nervous with the coupons that put redeem at Walmart. They dont say available at so not certain if you can use them. I was going to print the cream cheese but the wording says redeem at Walmart.

I’ve never had a problem with Safeway honoring coupons that state it’s redeemable at another store. I have no hesitation presenting coupons that have other stores listed on it at Safeway. I believe Winco is the only grocery store that refuses to honor a coupon that has another store listed on the coupon.

In my experience, Winco will accept them if they scan and if you can convince the cashier to scan it!

The Safeway coupon policy says they will accept a coupon with another retailer’s logo as long as they carry the product.

Off topic – can I use a manufacturer’s coupon (it says “redeem at Safeway”) that I get from Safeway from their Catalina machine at Winco? Or is Winco’s policy not to accept coupons with other store names on them? Thanks.

I know there are exceptions made here and there–supposedly Fred Meyer accept Walgreens’ register rewards catalinas–but I try to use my store catalinas only at the places they came from. Some readers have reported success in using them at other stores. I doubt if WinCo would take another store’s catalina-type mfr cpn.

Great deal, even if you just use it to pay regular bills you come out ahead $4.05.
I think the Challenge cream cheese scenario is pay .50 after the m/c 1/1 coupon and get .75 back from Ibotta. Thanks, Brittany for the good deals you came up with.

Yes, I’ve done this before. Just buy it before you shop and you can use the card to pay for your groceries! If I remember correctly, the $10 catalina has a fairly short expiration date so watch the date.
