You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

We are proud to be a part of The Grocery Gathering over at BeCentsAble, posting for Safeway in Oregon & SW Washington.

You can get Hidden Valley dressing FREE!! the deal doesn’t work with the Albertson’s coupon, but you can still get it FREE!! Use the Hidden Valley farm house or salad kit coupon for $1/1 expires 6/30/11….its been tested, I know this works. The in-ad coupon says selected variety, Safeway only carries two of the flavors and not alot of stock….good luck!

I wish I would’ve read the comments about the do not double on the Hidden Valley Ranch before I got to the store…Also, the Minute Maid fridge pack deal never works either. Safeway will not take 2 of the $2 off coupons. You are actually only paying for 2, the rest are free. They will not budge on this. Also, only a $1 Catalina prints because you are only paying for 2, the other 3 are free….

They should have taken the 2 off, because it would be taking the $2 off the 2 you were paying for, as long as they were coke brand . I had no problem with this today. It was the free 8pack mini that I was worried about, but I got lucky

My transaction on the Minute Maid worked great WITHOUT any beeps. Even the free coke didn’t beep and a $3 Cat printed. So, yes you will get your $3 cat even with getting 2 of the 4 free. The problem I had was finding a Safeway that still had Minute Maid in stock. Ours has been out for several weeks!

There was a tear pad for Doritos in Fred Meyers last week for manufacturer’s coupons for $1 of 2 bags of Doritos. They are not able to double but it makes the bags $1.17 each after the coupon. The deal is for Wednesday only though…I found the rip pad at the Fred Meyers on Market street in the beer aisle for some reason!

The ad that I got says that the Brats are $2.66 a lb and sold in 3 lb packs so the total is $7.98. Does anyone elses say this or am I missing something?

    Hi,
For us newbies what does the new cost work out to be for the Minute Maid Safeway deal if we can’t use free offer w/coupon? Still a good deal?
    Thanks

I’m not sure which one you are missing but it is $13.98 for the two you are paying for and then you will get 3 FREE. So five for $13.98 BEFORE coupons and Catalinas. I’ll let you do the math from there.

Does Safeway do price adjustments if I have the Haggen ad? I see better deals there on produce.

Any local papers that carry the safeway ads on Tuesday should have this. I get a South Salem newspaper delivered to my door. If you get those random papers you never pay for I would check them because they usually have the circulars for Safeway. It is one of the stores that runs more than one ad regularly each week.

So can you use the Blue rhino propane tank purchase w/ the $10 off $50 coupon? And is $17.99 a good price?

    FYI- CARS 2
I had good luck a couple weeks ago at the milwaukie safeway for the cars 2 boxes.

Yes, I think 17.99 is a good price. I filled up my tank at the gas station and it was about $14.

I should clarify. It’s a good price if you need a new tank, but not if you just need to refill it – you can do that at a gas station for about $14.

you can’t double the minute maid coupons and you cannot use 2 of the coupons. Safeway policy states you cannot use a coupon on a free item, they strictly enforce this. Especially when the coupons peep when trying to use on a free item.

Just got a reality check on this….they only accepted one of the mentioned coupons and wouldn’t double it. I tried to use 2 of the Albertsons and the free 8 pack. Oh well 🙂

The Kellogg’s Raisin Bran boxes should be eligible for the $10 WYB 10 rebate here. Helpful if you buy cereal regularly; good till the end of the year.

It’s good if you can find the Cars2 boxes. Not all Safeway’s will have them. The rebate is good with the codes on the box.
