Reader Brooke let us know on facebook that Barilla whole grain pasta is on sale for $1 at Safeway. That is fantastic because there is a $.55/1 coupon that makes it FREE with a doubler!

Barilla Whole Grain Pasta on sale $1 (unconfirmed, please let us know if you find the same price)
Use $.55/1 coupon from 1/8 SS insert
Use Safeway double (-$.45)
FREE after coupon & double

Thanks, Brooke!

Make sure you check the current list of Catalina promotions before you plan your deals. See more Safeway deals here.

Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Cornell rd Safeway in Portland has the deal! Picked up 2 pastas (free) 5 poms (free) 2 D pizzas and a lb of bananas for 4.93! The overage from the coupons made my bananas free as well! Crazy!

10 for 10 at Heritage Park Safeway in Vancouver. The coupon does NOT say DND, so they’re free! Went yesterday and picked up 4 free POM juice and 4 free whole wheat pasta (w/ doubl’r) for free!

I found the same pricing as Rachel at the Lake Oswego and Tualatin locations. But 20 cents each (with the coupon and double) isn’t bad.

Tks! Was wondering if there was anything else to make my potential trip there tomorrow worthwhile.

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I am having a hard time getting my comments to go through lately (specifically the last three days) here on FLNW… This was originally written @ 3:25pm… Would really love to know what is going on.

My Safeway in SW Portland had these on sale for 4 for $5 (so $1.25 each). Still a pretty good deal! I did find them a few weeks ago for 10 for $10 and that was an unadvertised deal.
