EDIT: Just read all your comments and I think to be on the safe side, assume that the rebate begins October 1 (which is funky because the form is already posted). Also, each rebate must be mailed separately, so I have amended my Target scenario and added a Safeway one. Thanks for your comments! You all make our job so much easier!
A big thanks to Cali who commented with this great rebate from SC Johnson:
Buy any 3 participating SC Johnson products, get a $5 mail-in-rebate. Limit (3) $5 rebates per household. Offer ends July 31, 2010! Here are the participating products:
• Scrubbing Bubbles®
• Nature’s Source™
And you don’t need to cut UPC symbols! I think I’m going to make an envelope for my coupon box with the printed rebate form already inside and just insert receipts as I purchase participating products. Once I hit 9, I’ll mail it in!
Go to the SC Johnson site and click on “click here for special offer” link. It’s a pdf file.
I haven’t tried out this deal personally, but it should work at Target if Ziplocs are indeed on sale this week:
Buy 3 Ziplocs on sale $3/5 = $5
Use $1.50/2 coupon
Use $.40/1 coupon from 9/13 SS insert
Pay $3.10; Submit receipt & form for $5 mail-in-rebate
FREE with $1.90 overage after coupons & rebate
Or you could try this one at Safeway:
Buy 3 Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Gels on sale $2.99/each with weekly ad coupon = $8.97
Use (3) $2/1 coupons — you will have to access 2 computers to get all 3 coupons
Use 3 Safeway doubles (-$1.50)
Pay $1.47; Submit receipt & form for $5 mail-in-rebate
FREE with $3.53 overage coupons, doubles & rebate
Leave a comment if you come up with any great ways to use this new rebate!
