This month has been a great month to roll those Register Rewards, hasn’t it?! Four weeks ago I had $3 in Register Rewards and after spending a few cents here and a few cents there I now have $29 in rewards and a whole lot of product as well!
This picture shows 5 transactions worth of product. Normally I would spell out exactly what I did to roll them all, but I can’t find my first two receipts as I did those in Tacoma while visiting my sister and family. (By the way, the Walgreens on Pacific and 38th is super coupon friendly! Do any of you frequent that store?) So I’ll spare you all the details and sum up:
My total cost of all this was $1.44 and I started out with $16 in Register Rewards. I now have $29, I should have had another $7 except I wasn’t thinking and used a Vasiline RR to pay for another one, stink! I hate it when I do that! The two packs of toothbrushes were fillers and were just $.25 each, which worked just perfectly with my transaction. I did forget to put one Triaminic in the picture.
Of course, being a chocoholic, my favorite find was the Nestle Fun Size bags. They are on sale at 2/$4 and I used (2) $1/1 IP’s (nla?) making them just $1 each. This is a great price if you are needing to buy some candy this season. (And don’t we all “need” candy?” I then bought a Halls Refreshe for $1, used a $3 RR, paid $0 and received a $1 RR. Now I am ready for Trick or Treaters, (I’m not home for long that night), and it didn’t cost me anything out of pocket, plus I made another $1. I love it when I can use this rolling of the register rewards on things I would normally have to pay for.
If you have yet to take advantage of the great deals at Walgreens this week and still plan to head in there, just be prepared with a couple backup plans as many of the stores have empty shelves.
