There’s a new Catalina printing at Albertsons:
Buy $50+ in participating gift cards, Get $5 Catalina
November 27-December 3
Participating stores (we don’t know all the stores, but these will print for sure):
- iTunes
- Olive Garden
- Kohl’s
- Lowe’s
- Aeropostale
- Land’s End
- JC Penney
This promotion is different from last week’s in that the $5 off your next transaction prints as a Catalina, not at the bottom of your receipt. Only one will print per transaction. If you want to purchase more than $50 in gift cards, you’ll need to split up your transactions.
You typically cannot use a Catalina to purchase a gift card, so it’s best to assume this deal does not roll. Catalinas usually have a 2 week expiration, but it may be as short as 7 days. We won’t know until someone tries out this deal. The deal may not be tagged or advertised in your store, but it’s promoted on the Catalina website, which means it should print.

Do you need to print a coupon for the 5 dollars off gift cards at albertsons?
No, the Catalina site just allows you to print the offer details. A catalina should print when you purchase the correct gift cards for $50+.
I went to albertsons today and saw no sign for this and the cashier didn’t know of any promotion going on:/
Most often, stores (nor cashiers) are not aware of catalina promotions. We know this is a valid catalina because it was on the catalina website. If your catalina doesn’t print and it’s on here, call the catalina company and they will send you the catalina by mail.
I did this yesterday and didn’t get anything back. I contacted the catalina company and was told that Albertson’s wasn’t participating. I can see on your screenshot that they were – but the catalina page doesn’t have them listed now…
Nevermind – I found it. Will let catalina know they are wrong…
did you ever get your catalinas? I emailed them and this is what they emailed back….After researching your transaction it has been determined that the promotion mentioned is not a catalina promotion in store.
I did 5 transaction so im pissed that I cant get my $20:(
