I’ve been dragging my feet with the Albertsons ad because of that pesky little line at the bottom of the back page. Albertsons is running a General Mills catalina promotion this week: Buy $20 worth of participating products, Get $7 catalina. The fine print reads “Minimum purchase requirement is calculated after manufacturer and store coupons” and “Limit 1 offer per customer.” Interesting. I don’t think the deal is worth it if you need to spend $20 after the cashier scans your manufacturer’s coupons and you can only do the deal once.
Good news though. Fabulessly Frugal is reporting that managers in the Boise area claim that the catalina will print when you spend $20 before manufacturer’s coupons. Of course if your catalina doesn’t print, you have no recourse as the fine print is clear.
Fabulessly Frugal is also reporting that we will receive double coupons on Sunday. I will start working on coupon match-ups soon, though I suggest you wait to shop until Sunday.
Stay tuned for deals…
