We are proud to be apart of The Grocery Gathering over at BeCentsAble, posting for Albertsons stores in Oregon & SW Washington.
I hired the babysitter. I was ready to plow through the Albertsons ad.
And now I am finished with the denial. I have the stomach flu. And am recovering from strep throat (which is HORRIBLE in case you’ve never had it before). I don’t know how I will take my antibiotics and yogurt (or nurse, for that matter). Stay away, yeast and bacteria, stay away!
Needless to say, I can’t do the match-ups. But you all need to shop. I can feel the tension and energy through the computer screen. So, please head to The Krazy Coupon Lady for a great list of match-ups and promo scenarios.
And save some fruit snacks and juice for me…

ughhhhh! Please get better soon. In the meantime check out Discount Queens at http://discountqueens.blogspot.com/ she has an awesome spreadsheet that really helps figure out all these buy $XX and get $XX scenarios.
Feel better soon!!
Collin,
Take care of yourself. Drink lots of fluids like tea. Put your feet up and relax. You work so hard for us all the time to get us great deals. I appreciate you so much. I wish I could make you some home made chicken soup. Get well soon!
Virtual hugs — feel better soon, and don’t stress about all of us. Sometimes flying solo is a good learning experience. But we will of course be glad when you’re feeling better and back to make it oh-so-easy.
take care of yourself and who cares about us. We will manage just fine : )
You can take those pills instead of eating yogurt if that helps…starts with A…think it is acidolphulus(sp). I had strep on xmas eve and had to nurse through it…not easy.
Are you still teaching the Tacoma area class this weekend since you’re sick?
Yes. I’ll be fine by then!
Oh, not good at all!! Stomach flu & strep combined -awful!! Hope you feel better very soon!! Sure hoping we’ll be able to see you this weekend!
Collin is over at Hip2Save, I think….
Yes Acidophilus it really works. I took it when my daughter was a newborn, she and I were both on antibiotics when we left the hospital (nearly 14 years ago). Neither of us got any yeasty/bacteria infections! You can purchase it at health food/nutrition stores. I have some in my fridge right now. I recently recovered from a bacterial infection and I really think it expedited the healing process. I think it is like yogurt on crack. It’s the way to go if you don’t want to consume massive amounts of yogurt and/or your not up to eating.
Go rest–we won’t starve
