My albertsons has the playtex sport tampons for buy 2 get 1 free. They also had a 1.00 coupon next to it that says manufactor coupon. I have a Buy 1 Get 1 free coupon, could I use that coupon and use 2 of the 1.00 coupons?

I’m not 100% sure if they are store coupons or manufactor coupons. They say do no double and also say manufactor coupon but they say albertsons on them. If they are manufactor coupons couldn’t I double those 1.00 coupons and get 3 boxes for .49 cents?

The BOGO AND the $1 off coupons are both manufacturer coupons so you could only use 1 or the other, the $1 coupon can be doubled, the bogo cannot.

What’s the best way to do?

It is already “Buy2get one free”
If I double 2 of the 1$ off, It’s $4.00 off of total $$$ and one free, get 3box Playtex.
Or How do I use B1G1 coupon in “Buy 2 get one free” senario?…. I’m confused.

Randi December 4, 2012 at 11:59 am

I’ve heard from other people that we could do this:

Buy 2 get 1 free – playtex tampons
(1) B1G1 coupon
(1) $1 coupon
(1) doubler

=2.49 for all 3 boxes or .83 cents a box!!

ripet December 4, 2012 at 3:19 pm

So, YOu are still getting 3rd box for free,?
Even though you bought only one with $?

I’m not sure , if it is a go or not….Iwould love to try though!

Krista December 4, 2012 at 10:09 pm

I was wondering the same!! Thanks for asking. Hmm maybe I’ll just go to the store and try it out…and ask the manager. Let me know if anybody does this deal.

If someone is looking for more TTV coupons & in the Wilsonville, OR area, I have 17 extras (5 sets of 3 + a partial set of 2). I am willing to meet you at the Wilsonville Albertsons to hand off, and would be up for trading for paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish detergent, canned veggies or let me know if there is something else you have excess of in your stockpile! I am available today & most of tomorrow. Call me at (360) 931-1221. If I don’t answer, and I still have them, I’ll call you back asap. Thanks!

I can’t find the Libby’s, have they pulled the coupon? Looked under zip 77477?

Reply

Krista December 3, 2012 at 2:21 pm

That was a good coupon and made for a great deal on canned veggies so most likely the print limit has been reached.

Q: can we use MQ for Nivea products that came out in todays sunday paper, with doublers. Or do we have to pay $15 oop to get the $5 coupon at checkout?

Buy 6 Nivea lip care 2.50e 6($2.50)= $15 – $9(when you use 3($3/2)MQ = $6 minus $5 coupon issued at checkout = $1 divided by 6 = .17 for each nivea lip care.

=or=

Buy 2 nivea lip care $5 and 2 Nivea hand or body lotion $5.99 = $16.98 – $3 lipcare – $1 Nivea lotion MQ(12-2 RP) – $1 Doubler – $1MQ – $1 Doubler = $9.98 OOP Minus $5 coupon issued at checkout = $4.98 for 4 items.

Is this a good deal?
And will the coupon issued at check out roll over?

Krista December 3, 2012 at 2:21 pm

Wowzer! That is one great deal on Nivea lip care and body lotion. And yes, the Catalinas will roll to the next transaction. Nice work!

Letty December 3, 2012 at 3:58 pm

I did the 2 Nivea lip care , 2 lotions deal today. I had my $10 coupon from the butterball deal and i used it to help pay for the oop cost. with the nivea products i also got a country crock butter and all i paid was $0.67 for 5 items and i got the $5 coupon.. sweet.. i’m happy. I only have one bottle of lotion left.. Even with my $10 coupon, i thought it was good.

For some reason, the Albertsons on 185th and West Union didnt print out any catalina after I used 4 Nivea lip care and the $5.99 body lotion. I was getting my card out for payment and throught the cashier had put the receipt and cataline in my grocery bags. I couldnt find any reciepts in my grocery bags as well, so I suspect that the machines wasnt printing anything and the cashier was too tired to make sure the reciept was printed correctly. Just a heads-up if you were planning to do the same thing I did.

Letty-Oregon City December 4, 2012 at 10:46 pm

Sorry Funds it didn’t work out for u. I did my transaction six more times and I had no problem. I know someone tried the deal by getting nine lip care and didn’t get the coupon. Well thanks for letting me know.

Shana December 3, 2012 at 9:02 am

On the General Mills Deal can you buy 6 items for $1.88 or will it be 5 for $1.88 and the 6th will be regular price?

I ask because the chex cereal is $1/2 and I have 3 coupons.

Reply

Krista December 3, 2012 at 2:23 pm

For this specific deal to work, you must buy in multiples of five. If you purchase six boxes, the first five will ring up at $1.88 and the sixth box will cost you $2.88.

anybody in Aumsville OR area that wouldn’t mind getting together and sharing couponing tips/strategies? or just emailing works too. I seem to start out with a good plan and then when I get to the store it doesn’t work out as well. Thank you.

Amy December 4, 2012 at 2:00 am

I’m in Salem but wouldn’t mind meeting somewhere or emailing. Maybe two heads are better than one. Sometimes, I do really well with the coupons other times just so-so and then there are the terrible trips where I probably would have done better without coupons. You can email me at ask_amy2 @ yahoo . Hope to hear from you soon, Amy

Keizer Albertsons has the betty crocker boxed potatoes for $1 and stove top stuffing 2/$1 in cart sales at the front of the store atm. .50/2 coupon on potatoes http://www.everydaysaver.com/kroger. They also had the essential everyday paper plates 100ct 2/$3. 11/18 SS has $1 off $3 or more purchase of anything essential everyday.

Howard December 2, 2012 at 7:09 am

I have one in my coupon box, and 3 different coupon websites show it was in 10-28 SS. However, I may have gotten it from a Florida newspaper my mother saved for me during a recent visit. I get two Oregonians and have only one of these cpns, so my guess is that it was from Fla and not here.

Walmart currently has the Reynolds Slow cooker Liners ON CLEARENCE @ The Bellingham Store for $1.00…

A few weeks ago there was a coupon buy ANY 1 Reynolds tin foil and a Reynlolds Liner and you got $1.50 off.. so at Walmart we purchased the 30ft foil for $1.58 and one Reynolds Slow Cooker Liner for $1.00 and only paid $1.08 for Both! Wish I had more of those coupons! It was a GREAT DEAL!

Yup, my Safeway doubles :)
and if yours doesn’t, I still think it would be better to get them at Safeway for $.99 rather than wasting an Albertson’s double on it :)
