Dang, I used up my Mt Olive coupon last week because we were out of pickles.
Planters Peanuts-should that be .99 cents??
Thanks for noticing that. I mistyped the initial sale price. The are $3.99 on sale, not $2.99.
Has anyone actually SEEN an Atkins frozen meal? I received a cpn for a free one a month or so ago (expires 3-31) and must have looked at at least 10 stores’ frozen foods depts without any luck. Their website says certain WalMart supercenters have them, but I have none near me.
The meals are in their ad this week. I personally did not check to see if they were actually in my store. Let us know what you find.
I found them at 181st. In SE portland they are red and white boxes and blend in with the smart ones which are also ref and white.
Thanks, I looked at King City this morning and found a nice assortment. They must have just added them very recently.
Speaking of Atkins, a reader pointed out a couple months ago that there was a link on her RA receipt for the Atkins site. They will send you 3 free snack bars and a cpn for a free frozen meal, which is what I followed to get mine. Here it is:
http://community.atkins.com/RegistrationOnePage.aspx?mcid=riteaid
I found them at the Kingston Albertsons.
There are atkins frozen meals at woodburn walmart
My Activia coupon is $1.00/1 so the yogurt will be free with the double.
Is it up to each store whether they will double the coupon on the free item in the BOGO? Or does it say somewhere that they wont double the coupon on the free item?
My store typically doesn’t have a problem doubling the coupon on the free item unless it gives you overage, but maybe they consider that the store is giving you one item free (store promotion) and then using a doubler is a store coupon, so I could see how they might refuse it?
Thanks. I guess I will see what happens since it seems to be an individual store decision.
Does anyone know if the gluten free rice krispies are included in the sale? Also, is the gluten free kikkoman soy sauce included too? Thanks!
Hmm. I thought Rice Krispies were generally gluten free??
The regular rice krispies are actually not gluten free. They contain malt, which contains gluten. I thought they were safe at first too, given the name and all. But they have a gluten free version of them that does not contain malt.
Just in case anyone else was wondering about this, I went today and the gluten free versions of the Kikkoman and Rice Krispies are NOT included in the sale price. Just wanted to update in case anyone else was looking for them too.
I wanted to give you guys a head up on another promotion ending 2/23. I got a baby savings thingy pop out of the catalina machine. Earn $10 good on future Baby department purchases for every $40 you spend on qualifying baby dept purchases. Excludes formula and baby water. I bought some Beech nut fruit pouches and some Huggies wipes, I used coupons but it clearly gave me the full purchase price towards my qualifying. Woot! May be a really good deal with doubles again this week!
The ladies at my albies told me today the warehouse is totally out of the Budding lunch meat. Dont be to upset if you can’t find them.
Appreciate the heads up-I was looking at that.
The Mac ‘n Cheese coupon printed with “Redeemable at Walmart” on it. Will Albies accept this printable in their store?
I have had issues with this, but if it says “manufacturers coupon” they ought to take it. I had to argue a little bit, though. Nicely, of course!
Used 2 today.
Get ready for round up starting Wed!
I can’t find the Mac n Cheese coupon
I just looked and now I don’t see it either. I know I printed 2 a day or two ago at coupons.com.
They are now gone. BOO!
Anyone in the Tigard/SW Portland/South Beaverton area (or North/NE Portland where I work weekday mornings) have an extra 6 TTVs for this week (2 sets)? I sure could use some more! hgroopman@yahoo.com.
Nice trip this morning: 6 Kraft Mac/cheese; 2 Kraft Fresh Takes; 2 whole 5.3-lb chickens; 1 Atkins frozen meal; 2 4-packs SlimFast cans; 3 Act III micro popcorn boxes; 6 Wolf no-bean chilis; 1 Mrs B syrup. Total $25.42 less $3 in store cats from last week. Used 9 TTVs.
I’m not in your area, but have you tried “dumpster diving” yet? If you have those Newspaper recycle/donation bins in your area, those are best. No diving or climbing needed; just reach your arm in. If I’m in need of more TTV’s, I will poke my head in and find either stacks of unsold copies from the adjacent store, or bags from patrons who recycle their used Sunday papers the next morning. Good luck Howard!
Amanda~ What where are those recyling bins located?
I will know later tonight, Howard, if i have extra. I only get 2 inserts (thank you to neighbor lady). I am going to the store after work. I live in King City. I will email you tonight if I dont use them (see how my coupons work out). I really am hoping to find another Mt Olive coupon for the peppers. Maybe use a Kraft Fresh Takes.
Thanks, Cheryl. I have no real need for the Mt Olive cpns, so I just clipped them from SS and will gladly give them 2U whether or not you give me any TTVs. Another reader emailed me and said she works near Wash Sq and has extra TTVs. (Have not heard back from her yet.) I usually come down to Tigard/KC on Tuesdays around 11 am or later. You can call me at 503-703-9546 anytime before 10 pm (or tomorrow morning) and leave a message if I don’t answer.
Howard, I did find Mt Olives coupons at the store. The ones on the pickles work for the jalapenos. I bought 4 jars of jalapenos, 1 6pk of olay body bar, and 1 Knorr homesstyle stock (the concentrated stuff). ONly spent $2.84
They had some shampoos in clearance, but nothign my coupons work for.
I live between Sherwood and King City. Hand on to those Mt Olives. Next time i dont need my TTV I will let you know. Couldnt help my self with the peppers. Hubby eats them on every dinner
I don’t know what a banana pepper ring is, and I hope I never find out (unless it tastes like a fried onion ring, of course).
When buying 4 of the V8 Fusion Juice a $3.00 catalina came out from Campbell. Making it an even better deal. Not sure why?
I often get unexpected Campbell’s cats. They are pretty aggressive with that program, especially at Safeway.
Where did you find the V8 Fusion juice coupons? I can only find the V8 Splash coupons.
My store at 185th & West Union has Oreo Fudge for $2.10. The price tag shows $2.99 but it rang at $2.10 so only 10 cents after TTV.
Dumb Question maybe…but just started getting into couponing, thanks for this website, SO helpful, my question is in regards to this statement: ■Albertsons double coupons are technically “Twice the Value” coupons, which means they will double the value of coupons labeled “Do Not Double.”, so I printed out one for albacore tuna, but it say’s Do Not Double atop it, this statement means they will still take it?? Thanks!
Yes Albertsons still doubles coupons that say “Do not Double.” It is even in their coupon policy.
Thanks a bunch for getting back to me, greatly appreciated.
Has anyone actually seen the $1/2 V8 Fusion coupon? I can’t find them.
I have looked at several Albertsons for the Mt Olive roasted peppers, banana rings, etc. Are they in the pickle section? If so, my stores must not carry them. Thank you!
At my store they are on the very top shelf in the pickle section
Check your Albertson’s for the Planter’s Nuts and Chocolate Trail Mix. It is on sale for $2, so with the $1/1 plus double, it’s free. My usual store was out so I got a raincheck. And just FYI on the Family Size Wheat Thins/Triscuits, you have to buy three in order to get them for $3 (any more or less and they will ring up $3.99).
Olay Bath Bars- 6 pack on sale for $3.50 (normally $6.99)
Use $1 off coupon and double it.
$1.50 for 6 bars of soap. Cheaper than generic or dollar store.
Where did you find this $1 off coupon at?
Probably in the monthly P&G insert.
Just ran to the Hall & Greenburg Albertsons and if you need BBQ, they have the Kraft brand Original or Honey BBQ sauce 2/$1. They had a bunch on the clearance rack and some on the regular shelf. I got a couple to get me through till the summer sales on it.
I think you mean Greenway. I was there myself late this morning.
Yep, you are right Howard…hadn’t had my coffee yet. I also
was there late this morning too..wonder if you we’re one of the guys I saw there.. We need name tags to identify our fellow “frugals”
I don’t need a name tag. Just look for the George Clooney lookalike next time.
Oh, dear! You didn’t specify above that the fam size Oreos for $3 are a Must Buy 3 item. (It’s also in the weekly ad, but I didn’t know that.) I had two $1/1 cpns and bought two, and got charged $3.99 each. I took them to customer service and probably should have just returned them. Instead, the clerk convinced me to buy another one, and took 8 minutes (I timed it) to try to make a price adjustment. So I ended up getting 3 for $5 instead of 2 for $2. Not a bad deal, but I really didn’t need all those cookies–especially during Girl Scout Samoas season!
How are y’all getting double coupons? Is that regionally? I called my local Albers today and they said no doubling this week or next.
It’s very regional; I’ve heard that places like Las Vegas, Seattle, southern Oregon don’t have TTVs @ Albertson’s. Probably has to do with the amount of competition they have.
