I got a $4 off your next $40 purchase cat at my Albies yesterday???? It’s only good through 2/3/13. It came off my first very small purchase — $1.50.

If I had noticed, I could have rolled it into my big grand finale purchase. Be on the lookout!

My store in Beaverton was sold out of tortillas by 9:30this morning. Anyone know of a store in the Beaverton Tigard hillsboro area where there are some left? Going to try again tomorrow.

King City had a few left this morning. On an end cap in front of the meat dept, on the bottom shelf near the front right corner.

Hope everyone had a fun day with their TTVs. I used 8 in 3 transactions. 6 3-packs Dial bar soap; 2 La Vic tortillas; 6 cans Taco Bell refried beans; 4 cans Hormel chili; 1 Chik of Sea can tuna; 2 bottles Jacob’s Creek wine; 3 Tony’s crispy pizzas. Spent $19.40, will get $6 back from wine rebate.
All the Newtons cookies were something like $3.99 at my store.

Abby January 28, 2013 at 12:18 am

Well Howard I had fun with my TTVs as well today. I used 12 in 4 transactions. (My Albies well let you do more than 3 transactions as long as you don’t hold up the line.) Scored- 2 Frigo cheese heads, 2 Baileys creamers, 8 Tillamook yogurts (on clearance at my store for $.25), 5 Michalinas, 2 Red Barron pizzas, 1 Mt olive jalapenos, 1 Mt olive relish (would have gotten 2 jalapenos but they only had 1), 4 Propel waters, 4 Pace salsa, and 2 Super pretzels. Spent $22.36.

More deals: the Baileys coffee creamer on pumpkin spice and white silk was on clearance for .99. You can use the coupon from 1/20 ss or there were dollar off coupons around the bigger bottles in the store making them free, no ttv needed. Also Mt. Olive jalapenos and yellow peppers and red peppers on sale 1.59. Use coupon from 1/20 ss and ttv and they are free with overage :)

Emily January 27, 2013 at 10:25 pm

I have a question about the Buy 2 get one Free Stayfree pads in this weeks albertsons ad. I happen to have two bogo stayfree pads coupons left. Does this mean I would get THREE for free? I am unsure how this would work.

Reply

Miss Steph January 26, 2013 at 5:41 pm

The store sale is B2G1 Free, so you get one free with the sale. Now, with the two that you are left to buy in the above scenario, you can apply one of the manufacturer BOGO coupons to them, thereby only paying for one, but walking out with three. Do it again (the same transaction is fine), use your second BOGO coupon, and now you’re walking out of the store with six, having only paid for two. You go, girl! ;)

Laura, SW Pdx January 26, 2013 at 6:21 pm

How much are the Stayfree pads? The ad doesnt provide a price.

I updated Java, and the tuna (chicken of the sea) coupon prints correctly, but then says on the top “Do not double”. Clearly, Albertsons wont double these?

A few comments:
1. The no-beans Hormel chili is $2 on sale, not $1. The regular chili is 99 cents before cpns as part of the Buy 10 promo, as you indicated.
2. The Hefty slider bags are a much better deal (thru tomorrow) at FM; $1 before cpns.
3. I was able to print one Chik of Sea tuna cpn before running out of luck. The picture of the product didn’t print, so I hope the cpn will work. All the bar codes are there, so it should scan. There’s a memo on their website re Java issues.
4. Can’t find my Red Baron cpns from 1-20 right now, but I THINK the $1/2 cpn is good only on specialty pizzas and not the regular (aka Classics). Will have to check that one out.
5. The Activia yogurt is supposedly $1.67 at Target before the $1 cpn. There’s also a $1/2 Target cpn for it that may or may not be able to be combined with that. Don’t know if that price expires this week or not.

Howard January 25, 2013 at 3:00 pm

PS Thanks for all these matchups; when I read the ad this week, I didn’t see much of anything worth doubling.

My Red Baron coupon says $1/2 12oz or larger multi-serve pizza

Reply

ipon70 January 26, 2013 at 9:40 am

That will work, those are “multi-serve” pizza’s. All that means is you can’t buy the personal or single serving pizza’s with the coupon.
