Hey, I’m a newbie couponer. Looking at this list it looks like Albertsons doesn’t allow an overage with the doublers, is that correct?

Reply

Angela March 13, 2010 at 6:50 pm

Correct. They will only double to free.

Ann March 14, 2010 at 5:27 pm

I got a bit of overage today. :) I think some checkers just automatically do the three doublers at $1 each, assuming you have three coupons which are double-able.

I can’t finf the old orchard juice coupon in coupons.com. May I get your zip code to get it please?

Angela March 13, 2010 at 6:50 pm

Oh, it may have reached the print limit.

I thought the chill catalina only printed through the 9th

Reply

Angela March 13, 2010 at 6:51 pm

It has been extended.

Thanks so much for the list! I was excited to see doubles again. Is anyone else having a hard time printing the keebler coupon? The site keeps taking back to sign up for the newsletter after I’ve already completed the form. We love free cookies over here!

I clicked on the yellow box “Continue to Coupons” then logged in. I was only able to print 1 coupon though.

Teri March 14, 2010 at 8:07 pm

I was able to print 2 coupons, you have to go back through and click on the coupon button again, though. I tried first hitting the back button, and it would not let me do it that way, so I just started over and it went right though.

Am I missing the TreeTop juice boxes? Can’t seem to find them in the ad for the sale price.

There is a kelloggs deal at Albertson’s, 1.88 ea plus a 1.00 off when you buy three coupon from redplum a couple weeks ago.

Is the v8 Splash coupon gone from the website? I found v8 fusion but not splash. It’s not the same thing is it?

My No Yolks coupon states, “Coupon NOT subject to doubling. The coupon is redeemable at face value only.”
:(

Reply

Faith March 14, 2010 at 1:38 pm

I used the No Yolks coupon along with others today and Albertson’s doubled it with no problem. I think since you are actually using a store coupon and writing in the value instead of a true double, it works even when the coupon says “do not double or triple” HTH

My Albertsons in Vancouver all of a sudden started doubling my dnd when I did the fruit snacks deal. I’m not sure if this will continue or not, but it may be worth looking into. Think of all the possibilities! :)

I couldn’t print the juice box or cracker coupons. I keep clicking on the boxes but nothing happens. Bummer

Try turning off the pop-up blocker for each site. That usually works for me.

Reply

Sarah March 14, 2010 at 10:55 pm

I had to do that too, to get it to work.

Kiran March 14, 2010 at 3:49 pm

V8 coupon didn’t work for me they said that coupon is not for the same kind. Coupon is for fusion n they r not on sale

Melissa March 14, 2010 at 3:50 pm

When I bought fruit snacks the cashier told me that they recently had a policy change and that they could double coupons that said do not double.

Mrs. T’s Peirojies on sale $2.99, $1/1 coupon (1/10 RP), doubled = .99!

Also, Suave Deorodant on clearance for $1.64, use $.75/1 (3/14 SS), doubled = .14!

$1 Jose Ole Chimichangas are on the buy 10 get $10 Chill catalina deal at Albertsons! Rolls just fine too. The Chicken and Steak flavors work for sure, the burritos do NOT work. Stores have good stock on these, love the free snacks in my freezer!

Does Albertson’s have more doublers available in the store like Safeway?

Reply

Doaa March 14, 2010 at 7:20 pm

They ususally do. Usually they’re on the customer service desk. If not, ask for them. In some stores, they keep them and hand you one when you ask.

Doaa March 14, 2010 at 7:21 pm

How many transactions using doubles does your Albertsons allow?

One store here has a sign that only one set of doublers per day. Other stores (i tried another 4) let me do two transactions back to back. I haven’t tried to do more than two.

is the old orchard any flavor for the big chill cat?i dont’ want to make the mistake i did last time when i tried to get the cat but it was the wrong kind….anyone know? :) thanks!

Reply

Angela March 14, 2010 at 10:40 pm

I went today to try to do the Old Orchard deal thinking it was any flavor. But, I noticed only 3 flavors were 1.29… the rest were 1.59. The 1.29 flavors were all gone. I think they were Cranberry, Orange, and Pineapple. Anyway, I was hoping that buying the other flavors would work for the Catalina, but they didn’t. :( So, I ended up returning them. It wasn’t a great deal without the $10 back.

(This is a different Angela, btw, than THE Angela. I’m definitely not the pro at this…I’m a newbie too.) Wanted to clarify that the above comment wasn’t from THE queen couponer Angela. :)

Jorene March 14, 2010 at 9:15 pm

No the old orchard are on certain kinds only. I believe, orange, grape and pineapple.

Reply

Donna March 15, 2010 at 11:32 am

The ones I’ve gotten are grape, cranberry, and pineapple orange. They were all marked as being part of the Chill promo.

I’m a neebie at this. I tried to buy the 10 cans of Old Orchard juice today. I used the coupons listed. I did not get a catalina and the checker didn’t understand. Is there some way to get it will my receipt?????

Reply

Angela March 15, 2010 at 2:06 pm

Some of the Old Orchards do not qualify for the catalina. I suggest you just return the juice and try again with the qualifying varieties. I’ll update the post with the ones that will trigger the cat.

Albertsons doublers coming out in Wednesday’s ad. They are good 3/17-3/20.

Reply

Rita Singer March 15, 2010 at 9:44 am

I didn’t get an Albertsons doubles ad or a Red Plum in my Oregonian. We get the “early edition” in southern Oregon. Is that why?

Reply

Angela March 15, 2010 at 2:05 pm

Could be, or someone stole the two out of your paper. Try calling your paper to see what could have happened.

Reply

Jeanette M March 15, 2010 at 5:21 pm

Rita – I am the Oregonian dealer in part of Eastern Oregon. I believe Southern Oregon gets the same “early edition” that we do and there are no Sunday doublers that come unless on a rare occasion they print them in part of the first section of the paper itself. We have however started getting an Albertson’s ad most of the time in our Food Day. We do however get the Red Plum insert so I am not sure why you didn’t. The edition of the Sunday paper that you receive I don’t think should affect your Smart Source, Red Plum or P&G inserts. Hope that helped. You can call your dealer in your area and ask about the missing Red Plum. If you don’t know who that is you can call the Portland office and they can give you the dealer’s contact info. Hope this helped.

may have already been noted, but the “no yokes” $.75 off coupon says: NOT subject to doubing” in the written lingo….

Reply

Angela March 15, 2010 at 2:04 pm

RA: Albertsons “doubles” are actually “twice the value” which are different than technical doubles, like Safeway. Totally legit if your cashier “doubles” or “twice the values” your DND coupons.

The Keebler cookies coupon is for the cheesecake middles. It doesn’t show the cheesecake middles are on sale in the ad. I don’t think it will work.

ruthann March 16, 2010 at 9:49 am

V8 Splash is on sale for $2, but coupon linky is for v8Fusion… didn’t want to try using this coupon… wrong item and on “double” coupons I usually run into really precise checkers…
