I haven’t shopped at Albertsons for a while. Does every Albertsons double your coupons? How much do they double up to ($1)? Does the doubling happen automatically at the register or do I need to give them a “double coupon” coupon as some stores do?

I believe every Albertsons in the Portland/Vancouver area doubles. You have to have a Twice The Value (TTV) coupon in order to double a manufacturer coupon. The TTVs are located in the Sunday Oregonian Albertsons ad. There are three TTV’s to an ad and each coupon doubles a manufacturer coupon up to $1.00. Those manufacturer coupons greater than $1.00 cannot be doubled.

If you have more than 1 set of 3 TTVs, you must do separate transactions. Albertsons allows you to do up to 3 transactions per “visit”. Most of the catalina-producing deals this week require purchase of two items, so if you have two cpns for the two items, you can’t do another two items with two cpns in the same purchase if you want them all doubled. You can double internet printouts as well as any cpn that reads “Do not Double.” Up to the price of the item of course, and not for cpns that have a face value over $1.

Pillsbury chocolate peppermint cookie mix was marked down to $1, I had a $1/2 coupon so with a double both were free!

I found Febreeze Set and Refresh air fresheners and refills on clearance ranging from $0.99 to $1.37 – I think they were lavender and some other purple spring-y scent. I used the $3 off 3 Febreeze items to get them all for free (or nearly free). Then I realized I was getting the $1 catalinas at the end for every two I bought, so these actually came out to be money makers!! :) And no doubler needed!
