As of last night not all of the Axe body wash/shower gel were working as part of this deal. I had 8 body washes and 3 Balance Bars to reach my 10 total. As well as 4 B1G1 Axe coupons and a coupon for Balance bars($1/3). It was a LONG process of waiting for 3 different people to confirm that I did have everything I needed and they finally took the $5 off. That being said it was well worth it to get all of that for $10.93!
Hey, that’s pretty spiffy deal working there… thanks for the tip!
The quaker granola bars did not ring up as $1. I got the variety pack and they all rang up as $1.99.
The French’s mustard was $1.49 at my Fred Meyer, making it $1.19 after the coupon was applied (not $0.65 as listed above). I also got the “mom’s” cereal which was $0.49 each (must buy 2) after coupon, but the cashier hassled me because the coupon wouldn’t scan…..she said it exceeded the value of the product…..WRONG! I got 2 cereals at $0.99 each and the coupon was $1 off 2. I had to explain the math to her!
Love that. I had that happen also. I tried to explain the math to her without making her look stupid. I was also trying not to laugh. We really dont teach people basic math in this country.
Burlingame (SW Portland) FM had plenty of the Mom’s cereal. The coupon would not scan and the cashier had to call a PIC. Finally they got it to work somehow.
I got 6 Balance bars, two Mom’s cereals, two Hormel chilis for a total of $3.35.
Thanks to all who linked me to the coupons for these items.
I think I will go back and try the deal again tomorrow with some different items. I hope the Walmart/Honey Bunches cpns don’t cause a problem.
Does anyone know if this $5 deal works if you buy multiples of 10 in the same transaction? I was going to get 20 items but didn’t know if it would take off $10.
Hey Howard–you’ll need to separate the transactions and it’ll work. I’ve done 30 items before, just splitting them into groups of (10). So… (3) transactions in one visit.
I had a problem with the Mom’s cereal coupon, too. It beeped, but the cashier put them in manually. I did one transactionwith 40 items and the $5 deal worked.
The last time they ran this promo several readers here on FLNW complained of it not working when their transaction was over 10 items ie: 20, 30 etc. So @ your own risk if you choose to do more than 10 items. Best of luck.
Decided to make a 2nd trip to FM today. Once again, the cashier had no luck with the Mom’s cereal cpn–and it was the same cashier as yesterday. It took her about 5 minutes to figure out how to make it work after someone showed her yesterday how to do it. 2 Mom’s; 2 Honey Bunches; 2 Hormel chili; 3 Balance bars; 1 Goldfish cracker for $5.85 net.
Wow that is awesome!
La Victoria Salsa is a smokin’ deal too! Buy 10 Save $5 price is $1.49/jar. Buy 9 and use (3) $1.50/3 La Victoria MQ. I had a .55/1 cat also, so I bought 10 jars for $9.85!
Also, 9 Balance bars for $1.90.
They were completely out of MOMS cereal already!
The Nabisco deal is sweeter! There’s a $3/3 boxes in the 1/8 SS.
heads up that sobe lifewater is part of the promotion making them 79 cents after the 50cents is taken off. there were peelies for $1/1 in front of them, and they still rang through, making these each a .16 moneymaker even when i added deposit in!
Hey thanks! I’ve always wanted to try Sobe products… but wow a moneymaker? That’s awesome! Crossing my fingers that I’ll have such luck to find the peelies too.
Do u have to spend at least $5 to get the $5 off. I’d assume so….
As long as you purchase (10) items that are part of the promotion, you’re good to go.
Does anyone know if all the Pepperidge Farm Baked Naturals crackers are part of the promotion? My store only had the “Buy 10 Save $5″ tags on some of the varieties ………
Also any word on if the promotion is lasting longer than Saturday? Seem like when they did it a few months ago it continued on into a second week……..
